The only local restaurant I found to be able to compete with Palermos in Minersville. The thing that I f believe made this place better was.... everything! This has to be the best Italian restaurant in the area. Here is why: 1. Very good service. The hostess and waitress were nice and checked on us regularly 2. The food. The food was amazing tasty and delectable! 3. The cost. I have a family of six so I was expecting at leat $60-70 but for all of us to eat and have leftovers was around $40! The prices a were incredibly fair! They are not overpriced here 4. Atmosphere is very nice and looks newer Bottom line: eat here its awesome

Yikes. Their pizza crust tasted like cardboard. Their eggplant parm had been frozen and reheated, was like mush and still cold in the middle. Terrible eat in dining experience. Waiter was hard to flag down but tried to be accomodating. Another time, however, a guest in my house ordered a sicilian pizza for delivery and it was very good. I was shocked to hear it had come from there after my awful dine in experience. A hit or miss that is more miss than hit in my opinion.

Really really terrible food. Ive eaten here several times over the last few years and Ive never been impressed. Items always seem to come with added ingredients that were not listed on the menu descriptions; which not only is annoying, its dangerous for those with food allergies. Even basic food items are prepared with bizarre additives. Weird surprise ingredients aside, the food is just not great. I wouldnt recommend it; but if you do go here stick to the pizza.

A wonderful little gem in Tamaqua. Food is always freshly prepared and is consistently good (sometimes I feel like the sauce needs extra salt or pepper, but thats just my taste). Garlic knots that are on the table are out of this world. Large parties should call ahead for seating, especially during dinner rush. Not much space to wait for tables, so expect to stand in the doorway. Diners should try to get a table far from the door during the winter.

Great value. You get a lot of good food for your money. Their specialty dishes are out of this world. The only downfall in my opinion is the bread they use for their steak sandwiches. If youre looking for a Philly cheese steak youre not going to get it. They bake their own rolls. Anyone from Philly knows an authentic Philly cheese steak comes on an Amarosos roll! Other than that I love this place!

Order all the time from this place and I deal with the occasional errors on my orders but my review is for the service. You call to make an order for a pick up at 10:20 and they tell u there not taking orders anymore. If your gonna be open til 11 then shouldnt you remain open til 11. Its not like I was expecting them to make an order at 10:45. Im a bit confused with that.

Been here many times. Large menu that includes basic Italian items to salads to appetizers to subs and pizza. Always good food with large portions and friendly service. Update 8/12/17 the new section is opened and its really beautiful with the tile wood floor, exposed brick and dark wood trim.

Really good service, and they were able to make everything safe for my girlfriend who has a severe wheat allergy. Portions were very big, we actually split one meal. Please note this is not a coffeeshop or a place for a quick bite. Its a sit down Italian restaurant, with pizza take out as well.

I have only stopped in for slices to go, but they have a MUCH greater selection of slice-pies than any other place that I know of in this area. The Pizza is very good, especially the crust, but what always stick out for me is how nice and friendly the staff is!

They have really good food but somewhat mediocre service from time to time. Ive ordered from them for years and quite a few times they have gotten my order wrong. Thats pretty much their only flaw. Other than that they have awesome food that I would recommend.

I have been eating at DiMaggios for a long time. I even delivered for them when I was younger. I love their food, especially the cheese steaks and subs. Their homemade bread is just amazing. This is always one of the first places I go when I visit the area.
