Food was meh. Chips bland and generic. Chunky salsa no white sauce. Entree had old tasting dry rice. Chimichanga was okay. Ordered two margaritas the strawberry one was decent. The regular tasted like old salty bath water. No lime no tequila no margarita taste even remotely. Dishwater with ice. Disgusting. They did replace it with another strawberry at no charge. So it was a wash. Service was.... Having to send a search party to find our waitress. Twice. People beside us sent the check away with their card. Twenty minutes later nothing came back they had to send a search party for their waitress too. Then their card appeared to be lost. Manager was coming out when they found it. Oh, way way over priced. Do yourself a huge favor and go to taco bell across the highway. This place is out to get seasame place tourists that wont be repeat customers anyway. Keep walking or driving.

Terrible experience with the wait staff in the lounge/bar area. We sat at a table for over 20 minutes, tried to get the waitresses attention but she ignored us like she didnt hear us. Then her and another waiter started arguing over who had to serve us, highly unprofessional and made us feel so unwlecomed. We were their for my friends birthday and we ended up leaving and going all the way to On The Boarder since we know we would get service there. It really is a shame because the food here is great, but the staff are extremely slow and rude. Funny thing is we were planning on getting dinner and a few drinks and I always tip 25%. I definitely wont be returning again. Its worth the extra 20 minutes to drive somewhere else.

Chose Margaritas for supper tonight, I ordered the steak quesadillas and a beer. It took several minutes to finally get our drinks to the table but the food came out pretty quick, warm, fresh and great tasting. What ruined it for me is our waitress. Very slow, had to asked (4) times for waters, and had to go get the silverware for the entire table. Because our waitress or any for that matter could be found. And its not like we went at a slow time either. I would go back if I was promised better service but this made my Margaritas experience terrible. Will not be going back

Great restaurant concept and design, absent management.Had dinner there last night. No host at door, sat ourselves after 10 mins waiting while host chat in back with staff. Absentee manager, with staff hanging out chatting while customers wait and are ignored. Staff walking over Food so n floor, sweeping tables onto chairs. we had to clean our seat off. Food was really poorly prepared compared to our first visit. Tacos had white dry lettuce, no cilantro, nothing...the most blah meal in a long time. We wont be back.

I lived in California and Arizona, have been to Mexico several times. I got the tacos from the land trio which were tasty(kudos for using corn tortillas). My grandfather got the super burrito which was big and he enjoyed it. Our server Devin was friendly and attentive. My only problem was that the chips clearly came out of a bag, the salsa was good but considering the chips I cant help but wonder if the salsa was from a jar.

Dont know how I managed to go so long before trying this place out, but its now one of our regular dinner spots. That said, it isnt perfect. The service can be downright terrible during peak times, and some of the food (like the miserable refried beans) just isnt up to par with the rest of the offerings. But Im willing to put up with a lot in order to get all you can eat tacos for ~$8, so I cant complain too much.

This place is very nice looking. But the service wasnt all that. I started with Queso. It was pretty good. Ordered tacos and they were not really tasty. I got beef and chicken. Both tacos were kind of skimp. They had a few tomatoes on them. The chicken was grilled chicken but it tasted like the ready to eat grilled chicken you get in the grocery store. Next time I will go to Taco Bell

Hostess Dana what a sweetheart, she stopped what she was doing and helped us right away .sat at the bar soon as i sat down my arm hit a sticky spot troy ran over and wiped the whole area with a smile, helped my decide what margarita to order .he has asked while bar is busy how we are and if we need anything job well done.will bring my friends and family here.

Terrible service! Will never go again. There is no communication between servers and kitchen workers. Despite the restaurant being slow My drink was forgotten. 5 out of 7 entrees were incorrect. Not authentic Mexican food too cheesy and bland. Stay far away from this place. I would rather go to on the border over this any day.

Awful food. Food comes out looking like a 5 year old prepared the plate. Margaritas taste like saltwater. Nachos overcooked. Refried beans right from a can. Carnitas like burnt cardboard. Chimichanga was the average at best. Would NEVER go back or recommend. Cant wait to see what replaces this place once they go under.

It is the first time my family and I have been here, and the food was fantastic. The food was amazing!! Not to mention the awesome service and family oriented scenery. The food has amazing taste and is very flavourful. I recommend this restaurant to any family or couple willing to have a good time and amazing food.

It was practically empty but the sever didnt refill drinks (water and iced tea), the food was salty, and we eventually had to get a manager to get us our check because it had been 30 minutes after finishing our food and we were still waiting to pay and leave. Awful service, mediocre food. Not worth eating at.

Seats are dirty, we never got offered additional drinks when we were finished our before the food even came out. Onions everywhere, I am pretty sure the peppers are out of a frozen bag, small portions, very salty and half the rice was stuck to the plate. Waited over ten minutes to get a bill.

Horrible service! Well actually Im not sure how the service is because no one ever came to greet us or anyone else who walked in after us. We asked the front person if they overlooked us maybe but after another 10 minutes of nothing we gave up. Whoever manages that place should be fired.

Me and my family dined here this past Sunday (group of 18). Food was mediocre, the service was horrendous...the servers kept forgetting to bring the food we ordered. Then to end a already bad night it took over a hour to pay for the food, yes over a hour. I felt like a hostage.

Everything we ordered tasted fresh and homemade! The portions were huge (lunch the next day)! Our server was engaging and friendly with all of us and paid extra attention to the kids. We waited a bit for drinks and food but nothing crazy. Looking forward to going back.

The food was pretty tasteless. I had the Juan burrito with pork carnitas and the pork was extremely salty with no flavor, the rice was bland and just not good. The queso wasnt the greatest either. Overall, Ive had much better from On the Border...a mexican chain.
