COMPLAINT ABOUT 88 CHINESE RESTAURANT,LANC PA I am a new customer and I ordered for the first time yesterday. I placed two orders online for lunch specials. When they arrived the delivery driver did NOT want to get out of the car because it was raining. She called my cell phone and told me to come out. I did not. She was VERY rude. I found the situation to be obsurd.The order was placed around 330pm and arrived an hour and a half later. I chose not to give the driver a tip for her bad attittude. She looked at the reciept, had the nerve to ask for a tip and then proceeded to roll her eyes at me upon not recieving one. When I opened my order, I noticed that it had onions in it. I had asked for ZERO onions on both my orders!! I called into the restaurant and asked for a manager, I was told there was no manager available a lady answered claiming her name to be ANNIE. She offered me two free lunch specials for the following day. Although this did not fix the current situation, I felt it was an effort. The following day I called in to place the order. The lady on the phone told me that she would send out the lunches as long as I tipped the driver!! Then she proceeded to tell me I was close enough for pick up and why did I just do that instead! STUNNED, I explained to her WHY the driver had not recieved the tip(which i had already done the day before) and that I worked from home and although the place was close, thats WHY I paid for delivery ( one dollar online with online purchases). This is the WORST experience I have had with a chinese food restaurant! They would not tell me who their manager was and avoided and IGNORED the question after asking several times. The staff is UNCOURTEOUS and I am sure that this would effect a Zagat rating if the place even has one. I will continue to try to reach the manager to make them aware of the mind blowing situation that occured in hopes that it is rectified and does not happen to any other customers. At this point I would NOT recommend this place to anyone and I will never purchase food from them again. I will also be filing a complaint with the better business bureau. I hope this doesnt happen to anymore people. I found a name that may or may not be the actual manager since they wont tell you who it is when you call. I will continue trying to contact him and let him know. These people need to learn better business practices.

I order from here a lot, since theyre food is some of the best Ive had and relatively cheap. I usually use their online service to order. Now, Ive been living in Lancaster for about 6 months there and order from here at least once a month, and at first, service was good. However, over the course of the past few months Ive noticed a decline. For a while, the one guy delivering my food would show up at the wrong address and ask me to come outside (now, this is during the winter, its cold outside!), and then when I would check the address I entered, I entered the correct one, he just went to the wrong place. The one female delivery driver scoffed at me when I gave her a one dollar tip the one time too. Im only ordering for one person, my orders are always under $9, I feel like a one dollar tip is fine for that amount. On top of that, they ALWAYS take forever to get here. I understand that it takes some time for delivery, but I only live a few blocks away. I could walk to this place in 5 minutes (but Im usually ordering food at night while Im doing schoolwork (and Im a girl whos new to the city and dont feel entirely safe walking around at night alone). Today I tried to order food using a Mastercard gift card. It didnt work, so they called me. The guy copped an attitude with me as if it was my fault and then tried to charge me an extra dollar. I told him to cancel my order and he hung up. He then called me back twice to try to get me to re-do my order and pay with cash (I have none on me) because the food was already made and ended up shouting at me. I will not be ordering from here any time soon again

Food is decent and online ordering is convenient, but the delivery is absolutely horrible! I live maybe 3 or 4 blocks away and it ALWAYS takes my food an hour+ to get here. The delivery drivers ALWAYS calls and ask me to meet them outside rather than delivering to my door. I used to suspect that maybe they had a hard time finding the place and wanted me to wave them down but no they usually wait in their car for me to come to them, until they get the message after too long. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT YOU PAY AND TIP IN THE EXACT AMOUNT! If you tip with a big bill dont expect to get any change back!! I gave the guy my money and waited for him to return with the change and of course he just gets in and drives away... I usually would understand because it can be confusing at times in the business when youre expected a tip but the online ordering gives the option to tip (which i include in the bill every time) and they also charge a delivery fee.. so that is very irritating to spend $30 on Chinese that costs $20 that took over an hour to get there from a few blocks away and the driver cant even deliver to the door... horrible delivery service, I will eat from there again most likely but my tips will definitely reflect how I feel from now on.

Bad food, bad manners, bad service. If you want any or all of these things, youve come to the right place. In July 2012 they completely screwed up a large order for me. I swore Id never go back. But the location is very convenient, in the heart of Lancaster City, and thats probably why they stay in business. So I tried again tonight. The Sliced Pork Hunan lacked even a hint of spicy heat. Even worse, the pork itself tasted on the edge of going bad! Likewise the pork fried rice was dry and stale tasting. Oh, and did I mention that I did not get a smile or a thank you or a good evening when I picked up and paid for my order? Why should they bother with courtesy or quality? Theyre in the heart of cuisine-idiot country, and they obviously do not need YOU! Do yourself a favor if you want decent Asian food. Travel to the next county if you have to. Just avoid this terrible establishment.

La comida estaba bastante salada y con grasa y eso que pedí brócoli puesto que soy vegana , el pedido llego bien de tiempo y estaba caliente pero no me parece un precio justo para la comida que ofrecen y lo más importante para mí fue el trato al tlf , este señor hizo burla de mi inglés porque no se hablarlo correctamente puesto que soy de españa y solo llevo tres meses aquí , me trato realmente mal , jamás volveré a pedir en este sitio.
