This restaurant is the worst customer service you will experience and I have got take out several times and several times my food has been wrong or has had raw. I recently called back to tell them they gave me a raw burger that was bright pink on the inside and they were rude as can be so I hung up. I get a phone call back from the restaurant saying they dont appreciate me hanging up on them and told me you cant get sick from raw meat. I have gotten sick from raw meat and found it hard to believe a restaurant would say that. He also made up stuff on the phone and wen I went in to pay is was unorganized and took forever to get my change back so I let him keep the change and walked out. I gave him the right amount and after I walked out he comes after me and says I owe him 2 dollars so I give it to him without a problem. I would love to see the tape off the cameras in the restaurant to see prove I gave him the right amount and he lied for extra money. This was my worst experience and the first time I have ever got yelled at on the phone for a restaurant messing up they did not say sorry once this is me a teen ager and my sister had to right a review I wanted to write this to give my opinion. The owner of the restaurant replies to my review saying grow up bruh. I think you need to grow up and stop being an immature. You were in the wrong and if u want to go further with this. Id be happy to talk to u in person and show me the tape because you know your wrong and a lier. This is why you had to close your first restaurant and open up a 2nd one with a different same because it was so disgusting and horrible. You grow up and ur the adult if u want to talk to person and stop being rude and again immature just give a time

Super disappointed. Weve heard amazing things about this place so I was so looking forward to having dinner here with friends. From beginning to end it did not go well. We gave the hostess our name and she explained she couldnt seat us until our whole party was there, which we understood, but we assumed (which maybe we shouldnt have) that shed come find us. She never said to tell her when our whole party got there so we waited forever. During this time we ordered drinks at the bar. My drink tasted horrible, likes smoked meat. I even tried to give it away to my husband and friend and they said no way. I told the bartender and she just gave me a rude look. I wasnt expecting not to pay for the drink but it would have been nice for her to seem understanding and offer to make me something else. All she said was OK. My friend had a similar rude experience at the bar. One of the guys behind the bar was talking to friends and could clearly see that my friend was waiting to order a drink but continued to talk, and when he was done he just walked away. So my friend tried to order a drink from a different bartender who came over, said nothing, and just gave him a head nod...who does that? What happened to hello, how are you, what can I get you?! Once we we seated our waitress was very friendly and helpful however there was a time between ordering drinks and wanting to order food where we didnt see her for 30 minutes! All and all, considering the prices, I feel this place was not worth it. Weve been to a lot of amazing restaurants for the same price or less with much better service and just as good, if not better food. We will not be returning.

Overall the food was average, the service and customer service was horrible! I went there on the recommendation of a friend and to check out the beers and food. I arrived early and sat at a high top in the bar. The place filled up and there was soon a long wait for tables, the waitress asked me to vacate the table and to have a seat at the bar in exchange for a complementary meal and a drink. I had a burger and two beers, the second beer was poured incorrectly and I was served the wrong beer and had to have it re-poured. When the check came I was charged for four beers and the burger. When I asked to have the check corrected the bartender initially said that he comped a beer. When I explained what the waitress said, he took one beer off the tab. When I again explained what the waitress said and that I only had 2 beers, he argued that I had three. I had to explain that three beers were poured and one was not correct. Ultimately he removed all all but one beer and still charged me for the burger. When I tried to discuss it with the owner he did not care to discuss the issue. I stated that if the cost of the burger was that important that he could keep the price of the burger and lose a customer. His response was simply, "Fine." I will never ever return to this establishment. My suggestion to anyone who go there it to keep a tab of your order because they will charge for for more than you ordered. If they ask you to move to the bar because they need a table and they offer you anything, get it in writing!

The Butcher and Barkeep is a high end restaurant and pub that offers outstanding food and a large selection of craft beers and wines on tap, and is easily the best establishment of its kind for many, many miles around (Harleysville, Souderton, Telford, Lansdale, Perkasie). B&B is So Good that I frequently plan outings there with family guests and travelers. Our family celebrates life and events at B&B, and we collectively look forward to each visit. The selection of beers (Life is Too Short for cheap beer) is phenomenal, and the depth of knowledge by the bartenders rivals any beer experts I have ever met. Without a doubt, the B&B burger is the best burger we have ever had, in any location, from Arizona to Pennsylvania. By far. Family wise, we order burgers four at a time. So, Yes, it is a popular spot, and Yes it is often crowded. But think about this. Why is it crowded? There are other bars and restaurants near by. Why B&B? Because its That Good! B&B is Off the Charts good, and we will wait for a seat because we adore the food, drinks and service at B&B. Plan a time and make time. The Butcher and Barkeep is well worth every moment.

To be honest, I only discovered the existence of this spot because I asked a couple friends in the food industry for recommendations where to go for a Sunday brunch, and I wasnt disappointed. This isnt the normal brunch buffet setup. Its a la carte. On recommendation from a former employee, I ordered the Cajun Benedict ($13 USD). The "chaurice" base, and the tasso hollandaise were amazing. Neither chaurice nor tasso are easy to come by in this region, nor is finding somewhere to find a properly cooked egg. My only minor complaint is that the home made English Muffin breads crust was... really hard, as if the oven was a bit too hot. The staff was perfectly friendly, despite having a line outside the door at opening at 11 AM, and our food arrived surprisingly quickly. To be perfectly frank, this area is bereft of cooks who care about what theyre doing. Most of the time, the chef can have some really interesting ideas, but the people on the line just cant (or wont) care about what theyre serving. The Butcher and Barkeep puts the rest to shame. They dont do call ahead or reservations, so plan accordingly. Its well worth the wait.
