Ummm, its a diner, firstly you cant have a hundred items on the menu and they be fresh, obviously most if not all the items are frozen and not fresh, lets start there. When I ordered a hamburger [I was hoping that was a safe choice, I was wrong] I did expect it to be fresh-ish, not a stamped pre-frozen patty that was greasy as all get out. The waiter asked how I wanted it cooked, LOL, it would not have mattered, it was a precooked, frozen patty, that was greyish looking when served, so why bother asking?! So obviously the meat was sub-par, the tomatoes on it were for sure at their retirement age, they were not fresh or good. What can I say, if this is what you consider excellent or even good eating, yikes, you need to get out more and to experience real cuisine.

We have been visiting this establishment for over 20 years with our family on our way to ocean city. After this mornings ordeal we will no longer make this our traditional stop. To start we waited nearly 20 minutes for scambled eggs and homefrys. As we were waiting for our breakfast we witnessed in the kitchen 2 huge plates of pre cooked bacon and toast on plates. As the food orders came the waitress than took their hands and grabbed handfuls of bacon and toast and disburse them on the food that has been waiting to be sent out. Now keep this in mind. Not one waitress had gloves on. They touched everything including money than your food. I find this to be unsanitary and very disturbing. Please think twice about this place.

My wife and I stopped for lunch around 1:30 Sunday, March 31, 2013. The girl hostessing seated us and then we sat. My wife even got up and used the rest room, but still no service. Another waitress brought out salads for two elderly women in the booth right next to ours and still, no service. When I looked up and saw one waitress shooting the breeze with a couple who had been on their way out the door, one waitress drinking a drink and staring into space, one waitress seemingly bussing a table and our hostess playing on her iPhone, we left. I will never ever stop in here again.

Love this place. I stop by, with my family, every time Im on my way home to New Jersey from Lancaster. They have great PA Dutch foods that I cant find back in Jersey. The Chicken Pot Pie is amazing. Doesnt sound great at first read since its more like a soup, but was done really well. I can get pickled eggs here. The beef barley soup was also great, more like a stew, just the way I like it. Dont want to wait an hour to be seated up the road at Millers? Then come here for your dinner.

Sooo my friend and I were feeling rather hungry and we stopped at the Gap Family Restaurant. First of all they should be ashamed of themselves for even serving that food. My 6 yr old nephew cooks better. It was a serving size for like 6 people. I got there sliced turkey dinner. It was lunch meat heated up with buckets of nasty yellow hospital gravy. Then the corn was so disgusting along with the stale mash potatoes. Seriouslyyyyyyy!!! DONT GO!

Simply put, I would not recommend this restaurant for lunch..or dinner..probably even breakfast. The people are nice but the establishment was not nice at all. If I were to ever come back it would be nice to see the following: greeted with smile, clean up the menu(revamp it all together) and just serve quality(fresh) food. Photo shows your vegetable options.

This place is horrible. Food came out cold potatoes were soggy. They refill Heinz ketchup bottles with cheap ketchup. French toast came raw and soggy. Didnt know it was possible to mess up French toast. My guess is they can burn corn flakes here. Stay away from this place. Doesnt look like they like to clean to often either.

I was not happy with my meal and neither were the rest if our party members. The lasagna was terrible. Looked as though it was cooked weeks ago and left to dry out. No I dont think the cook has good judgement as to when to toss a meal thats begging for the trash can. You are not missing this place. Sorry but I will not lie.

Food is good and a nice place to stop and relax before traveling on. On 8/17/17 this is the first time I got poor service the waitresses have always been really good and fantastic but today one of the waitresses boyfriend were there and it was the worst service Ive ever had I hope that this trend does not continue.

Nice little diner. Id give 3 1/2 stars. I had a gyro. It was tasty in a typical diner way. The French onion soup was good but had something that made it taste a bit tangy? It wasnt necessarily a bad taste but distracting. You come to get comfort diner food and thats what I got.

This place is great! Good old fashion home style food and great service. Came with the family this weekend for lunch. Weve driven past a couple of times and always said we should call in there some time. Well today we did and well be back.

Cant figure out the mountain of negative reviews on this place. My meal was without issue. Has a bowl of corn chicken soup and a Caesar salad. At minimum, they were unremarkable. At best, above average. Service was friendly and attentive.

☆♡Always fast service, great staff, wonderful menu selection, and outstanding fresh prepared food.♡☆ *Sometimes the facilities and dining area can be a little dirty, however compared to the food quality this isnt a big concern.*

Food has steeply declined from a former favorite stop years back. Tasteless sandwich and soup. Several in our party unimpressed. Over priced. Avoid unless the owner gets better quality staff.

Place was cozy and had a very friendly staff. Great food, drinks and desserts. Our waitress Kat was so cool and made our first time at the diner perfect, thank you!!! Be back soon!

We stop for breakfast every time we head to the Kitchen Kettle Village. The food is amazing. My husband and I will let everyone know about this place.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast on the way to Pittsburgh. Ordered food and in about 5 min the food was on our table. Food was good too.

Served lukewarm food the first time I went there. But my second visit was wonderful although the servers seem nervous around people.

Decent place for a quick brunch. Omlettes were good enough, amazing coffee. Home fries could have been better, was very bland.

Used to be outstanding but the last couple times were very disappointing. Construction makes it difficult to get in and out.

Got sick after eating a fried oyster sandwich. I guess thats my fault for eating seafood from a diner in gap though haha

Food is ok. Turkey and filling was good. Mashed potatoes were bland. The mens room was disgusting. Staff was friendly.
