We have eaten there four times ordered a number of different items from the menu Faol, Makanek, Grape Leaves, Sujuk Wraprap (from lunch menu board ), Tahini Chicken Sandwich, Shish Taouk Plate, & Falafel Plate, I grew up with middle eastern cooking and am always transported back to pleasant memories when we eat here. The food is prepared and presented with care. Often with a Syrian tilt to what I was used to but always delicious and, in the tradition of the Middle East, the portions are large. Not only is the food excellent but we feel like guests rather than customers. The staff are glad to see us and always willing to spend time chatting if we wish. Life is full of surprises - a Middle Eastern Restaurant in Fogelsville :)

i really love this restaurant, and go here roughly 2-3 times a week.. that is how good it is. I have taken many friends here, and they have all loved it. Why do i find it so good? First, the food is delicious. My favorites include chicken kabobs, shrimp kabob, hummus and rice, but really everything i have tried here is very good. Next, the food is healthy! Im a personal trainer at a gym, and it is so rare to find restaurant food that is so tasty, and so good for you. The prices are very reasonable for the quality. Service is great and the owners ensure that every customer leaves satisfied. I have never written a restaurant review before for any other place, but this place gets my full attention and respect. Try it!

Our family decided to check out this restaurant as its location was very convenient off of route 78 and had a very nice menu for the meat eaters as well as the vegans in the family. We felt immediately like we had walked into someones welcoming home. The food was absolutely fantastic and the service was friendly and kind. We were able to sample several appetizers, enjoyed delicious Mediterranean sandwiches, homemade pita chips, kebabs, and more. The staff was most accommodating for the younger kids in our group, acknowledged Mothers Day for the moms in the group, and brought us yummy cookies at end of the meal. I cannot say enough good about this place. Its tucked away in a strip center so dont miss it. You wont regret it!

Mediterranean Cafe and grill has excellent food. They have wonderful platters. i got the Combonation platter, which comes with three skewers with any choices of lamb, beef, chicken, shrimp, or kefta. My mom got the lamb platter, my dad got the beef platter, and my sister got the shrimp platter. You also get a bunch of different sides like fries, rice, or yogurt and salads with it. We all got different platters so we can try each one, and they were all sooooooo good. My whole family loved the food and they said it was the best meals they every had!! Also, the service is nice, fast, and the people are very nice. I recommend every one go their and try it because my family and I had a wonderful time.

Amazing flavors.. every thing that came out was tastier than the one before it... We had the lentil soup... they had a design on its surface that only five star resturants in the most expensive hotels would do. We had the mixed grill platter... every thing was perfectly cooked and wonderfuly flavored. The kufta reminded me of authentic Egyptian grilling at its best. This little 1 and a 1/2 year old Syrian owned resturaunt is a definate gem and a MUST visit. The food is only upstaged by the owners and serving staff. I travel around the country and had many middle eastern meals but I give this one a MUST visit. Thanks for a great experience and deserts that are out of this world.

This place has wonderful middle eastern and mediteranean cuizine. The food is great and has great taste. The service was excellent and the owner and his family were very nice and created a great atmoshpere for the customers as well as me and my family. Also, the prices were amazingly reasonable, we have been to other middle eastern restaurants and this place, by far, has the best prices. They even have B.Y.O.B! And they have wireless internet so everyone can have access to the internet while eating and enjoying thier food! All in all, it this is a really awesome restaurant and I recommend everyone trying it.

I am not sure if the other two reviewers have just never been to this type of restaurant before- I just paid 9 dollars for a salad that was bland. HOW CAN YOU MAKE BLAND ETHNIC FOOD?! it was terrible. Small portioned, mostly cucumbers- there may have been 12 pieces of diced lettuce, and 4 pieces of chicken. We were testing the food because it is a lot closer to our office, but after trying each others lunches we will DEFINITELY be traveling downtown to Damascus. Its well worth the trip for authentic cuisine - and fair portions for the price.

You must eat here! I am so glad I followed the reviews and stopped here! Quality dining for a modest cost ! Absolutely delicious! Try it! You wont be sorry! UPDATE : I couldnt stop thinking about my dinner at this place so the next day I skipped the free breakfast at my hotel ( Glasbern Inn which is very good btw) to go back to the Med Cafe for lunch before heading back to N.Y.! The owner made what is supposed to be a grilled chicken wrap but this was the most beautiful sandwich Ive ever tasted! Can a sandwich/wrap be "beautful"?

Soooo friendly! A very welcoming atmosphere with over the top service! Came here for a birthday celebration and the hosts were very involved. The waitress had excellent suggestions and was very helpful. All of the food was delicious. One guest accidently spilled their drink on their food right when it came out and it was replaced for free. Will definitely be returning and letting my friends know.

Just delightful! The sign says it all...."Sit and relax,while we freshly prepare your food." We were treated very nicely from the moment we walked in, and the young lady talked us into trying something off the menu. Im definitely hooked, the chicken wrap she encouraged us to try was indeed, very addictive AND, just as she said, taste just as delicious the next day cold, as it did fresh and hot

I recently started working at Mediterranean cafe and grill. The owners are so sweet and caring. I cannot brag enough about the food, if you love Mediterranean food like I do then I promise you wont be disappointed! Everything is made fresh daily and not to mention the service is excellent! I absolutely love the shrimp kebab platter. I read a review from Lehigh Valley Magazine that is posted on their website and definitely was not disappointed. I am addicted to their shrimp and took advantage of their BYOB policy with a group of my friends. We enjoyed everything from top to bottom and were very pleased with the friendly service and atmosphere. Best Hummus I ever had!!

Stopped here while traveling. The owners were so nice. When you find people that have the magical combination of caring about people, wanting people to experience their food and having really good food, you have a true winner. They have all that. Lots of nice touches here. This would be a great place for those that already love Mediterranean food and those trying for the first time.
