Were lucky enough that were within walking distance to Station Taproom...and we take that walk at least once a week for anything from brunch to lunch to dinner to a late night drink when we need to get out of the house. Since its not on the main drag and its in Downingtown, at first, Ill be honest, I didnt expect much. I was SO happily surprised walking in. From the atmosphere (clean, intimate) to the staff (friendly, knowledgeable) to the food and wine/beer list (local, yummy, super freakin good), I have yet, in my nearly two-year love affair with ST, to be anywhere near disappointed. The Thai red curry is ah-mah-zing. I cant stop myself from getting it nearly every time Im there, but everything else -- quesadillas, spinach salad, burger (or the breakfast burger if youre there for brunch), grilled cheese, any of their paninis -- so good! And their Eastern Carolina-style pulled pork is spot on, which means a lot since Im from North Carolina and have gone to more pig-pickins than I can shake a stick at. Overall, I love this place. Its awesome. Just go there!

Great food and a lively atmosphere. We stopped in for lunch which was actually brunch. I got biscuits and gravy which was excellent. It was served in a skillet and the biscuits held up to the gravy. It was brought out piping hot. We also had some wings to start... the hot was spot on buffalo style with tang, vinegar, heat. My kids had a pulled pork (good, and an interesting slaw with some horseradish kick) and chicken and waffles. Great choices, very well prepared. If we lived close by wed be back for sure! It is a bit small and can get loud but that is just the space. Great job!

The Station Taproom offers a unique dining and beer selection to Downingtown that is sure to leave you coming back for more! Its completely overhauled interior provides a warm "Olde City" feel while the draft and bottle beer selection only leaves you wondering, "Which one do I try next?" The Red Thai Curry Mussels are a fantastic starter while the Mint Lamb Burger earns a 5 star in my book. Dining in Downingtown has even MORE to offer with the addition of The Station Taproom!

This is my favorite restaurant ever. Been to a lot of great spots in NYC and Philly and this place tops them for me. We have friends who live in NYC and this is their favorite place too. The Thai Red Curry with chicken is my favorite dish. My wifes is the Shrimp and Grits. Also love the Sunday brunch. And if you can do happy hour around 4:30pm, you wont have to wait, it wont be a loud, and the $5 pulled pork sandwiches and $3 pints are a steal. Always get truffle fries.

My favorite date place for me and my wife - love the coziness, the intimacy, the food and beer selection and service. It feels warm, inviting and fresh. Its always crowded which only helps the atmosphere stay upbeat, but not unnerving or aggravating. The customers are all very friendly, clean and seem to all have the same desire to enjoy the intimate surroundings. The staff is just fantastic. Highly recommended.

By far my favorite bar in downingtown. I used to be a Victory fan but after going here it has become my go to place. The owner is a great guy who knows his beers and is always up for a good conversation. After just a few visits i felt like a regular and have brought many friends here. Unfortunately i am back at school now but am looking forward to returning home to enjoy the atmosphere and wonderful beer selection.

This place has great character. Its definitely an awesome place to grab a beer with friends. But the food is surprisingly good, and a definite step above typical bar food. In fact, the truffle fries are amazing; might be the best fries I have ever had (honestly). The Station Taproom gets a little crowded on a Saturday but other than that its certainly worth checking out!

I went here for brunch, it was outstanding! I got the chicken and waffles, my fiance got skillet baked eggs. Both were delicious, plates and food were hot! My advice is to come hungry!! Overall I would recommend to come here early, as this spot will get crowded quickly. When you walk in there is no hostess, just plop down wherever. Service is quick and polite.

What more do you need to know? Nice atmosphere - everything is brand new, modern and clean. Nice feel to the place - friendly service and you feel like you belong. Good food - nice selection and locally sourced. Great beers! Tap selection changes. Wine selection was somewhat limited, but did you see the name of the place? Taproom, not wine bar....

Every meal Ive had here has left me wanting more. Inventive dishes like Peanut Butter and Jelly cheeseburgers keep me coming back to see what theyll have next. They also have my absolute favorite side dish, Truffle Fries. The sound level can be quite high so it isnt necessarily a great location for having a meeting or romantic dinner.

More than just another place to drink beer, the Station Taproom offers craft beers and more than the regular pub fare. With menu items like the Asparagus and Artichoke Salad and the Lamb Burger with yogurt and cucumber, we will be coming here regularly. And I Love that they are using local farmers for their produce, dairy and meat.

One of my favorite local spots. Great craft beer rotation. Nice wine/whiskey selection. Food is always incredible, and reasonably priced, especially for being all local produce & meats. Staff is always spot on, friendly, quick. Alot of the staff have been there for awhile so theres always a familiar face working. Highly suggested!

Easily the best bar/restaurant in Chester County and one of my all time favorites period. Always a great craft beer selection. All of the staff is awesome. The food is incredible, and very reasonably priced. Some very interesting specials. Amazing Sunday brunch, be prepared to wait. The beer pairing dinners are not to be missed.

Great experience! Even though its a small place and they were really busy, we were seated within 20 minutes. Great range of beers on tap, and staff were all very warm and friendly. I had a chick pea burger that was one of the most amazing things Ive ever tasted! Very pleasantly surprised and will definitely go back!

Hands down best burgers and wings in the area. Understand its a small place but well worth the wait. Beer selection is solid and the staff can be short, but hey they are busy so all is good. They tend to have super cool one off specials that are always great. Keep doing what your doing!
