Unbelievable customer service. My office ordered a cheesecake for Friday August 28th and due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control we were unable to pick the cheesecake up on the 28th. Unfortunately, no one notified La Baguette that we wouldn’t be able to pick the cake up. On Monday, August 31st I dropped in to pick up the cheesecake. I am not the person who ordered the cake and therefore, didn’t know the correct name to give. When I gave the possible names, I was met with a blank stare by the woman behind the counter. She offered no form of verbal communication while I looked back at her, unaware that her attitude was less than helpful. She told me she couldn’t give me the cake because the whip cream wouldn’t be good, to which I responded, “Okay.” She told me she could give me the cake if she scraped the whipping off, to which I responded, “Okay.” She then let me know that she couldn’t give me the cake because she had, “Called and called and called.” Best of all was her blank unknowing stare. AN OUNCE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE CAN GO A LONG WAY TO RESOLVING CUSTOMER ISSUES. I was more than willing to purchase the cake old or fresh, with whipping or without whipping. Again, a little customer service goes a long way. I am sorry we weren’t able to inform you of our delayed pick up but the attitude of your staff is unbelievable. If you think I’ll miss a chance to tell this less than lack luster customer service experience every time I hear the name La Baguette in Norman come up, you’re sadly mistaken.

My description for this place can be summed up in three words: YUMMY, DELICIOUS, WONDERFUL! I go crazy for any of the sandwiches and desserts! If there is only one problem, its too many things to choose from. Sometimes I spend 5 minutes looking at the dessert showcase and I have no idea which to take. Sandwiches, thank goodness, has less to choose from in comparison. If I want a cold sandwich, I go with the NY turkey sub, the cherry peppers make it taste perfect. (My dad is a crazy fan for their Reuben, personally I hate sauerkraut.) If Im wanting a hot sandwich I would go with the chicken ciabatta or the French dip sandwich. French dip is pretty simple, but pretty delicious, its a roast beef sandwich with a wonderful dipping sauce. Chicken ciabatta has a dozen things inside that I dont know what or how to describe it. But its just sooooooo good. Lastly there are the desserts. If You Love chocolates go for the chocolate mousse. If you love fruits, especially strawberries, go for the strawberry sandwich or strawberry Napoleon. My personal favorite I think is the Raspberry Renaissance, that has a raspberry mousse inside! One last thing! You got to try the itailian or French sodas, raspberry or strawberry respectively! So tasty and new. If you like coffee, espresso, or cappuccino, totally go for it. My dad loves it, but coffee hates me.

Had been wanting to stop in and finally did. Joyous to say that I cant wait to return. We had baked ziti with meatballs and chicken crepes. The customer service was grand and both dishes were superb ! Make sure to get some addition bread for all that wonderful sauce. Took home a chocolate eclair and apple spice cakelette with salted caramel for later, both as fabulous as you would expect.

The best croissants, bread and pastry in Norman - it blows the Pan....ra Bre__d restaurant out of the water for these items. All their sandwiches and entries are made fresh, and their coffee bar is good too. The only place I know of that serves Strudel!!!!!! Love the new space on Main st. too.

Ordered birthday cake for my wife for her "Forever 39" birthday. It was absolutely delightful! I believe it was listed as B-40 on their website, but we had it customized, and it was AMAZING!! Death by Chocolate, but worth every bite! We will be using La Baguette for future cakes indeed!!

One of the best places to eat in Norman! Great breakfast and lunch items. The best Chicken Caesar salad in the Oklahoma. Great service and friendly staff. Try the homemade soups. The best! All deserts are amazing!
