What a delightful experience I had with Butter Cake Bakery! Highly, HIGHLY recommend this Norman treasure to anyone needing a celebratory cake. Traveling into the city from several hours away, I decided to order a birthday cake for our college daughter instead of bringing one from home. Calling to place the order the day before, I was blown away the next morning when I picked up the most beautiful cake Id ever seen! (And I usually bake and decorate cakes for my family.) It was a piece of art! Sonja, the owner, is such a cheerful and lovely person that I found myself wanting to stay and visit. . . and try some of her yummy-looking pastries...but we had a birthday party to get to. The store is breathtaking. . . very French-inspired. For the cake I received, I was amazed at how inexpensive it was! I will be returning! Oh, and I almost forgot to mention the utmost important detail. . . the cake was SCRUMPTIOUS!!! Thank you, Butter Cake.

The baker is warm and friendly. The baked goods are fresh, delicious, and made from scratch. It is clear an expert hand has crafted each item to delight the senses. One first eats with their eyes- the food looks stunning. The smell is extraordinary. The texture of each item is appropriate. The sound of yum will escape your lips. You must try this bakery. Go at lunch time, pick up the soup of the day, and then select a sweet treat to enjoy. Start with the buttercake and dont forget to purchase a few cookies for friends at the office or family to eat after dinner. Happy eating.

I just visited this cute bakery today. The interior design is lovely. Its clean. The owner is SOOOO nice. I had a cherry scone which was fresh, and wonderful. Id wanted soup, but at 1:00 they were understandably out for as busy as theyd been today, but going back tomorrow for some fresh tomato basil soup for lunch! She also gave me a free macaroon which was exactly how those cookies should be! I recommend them wholeheartedly!!
