Normally my boyfriend and I love to eat at Bob Evans, the food is always good and very reasonably priced. On 8-29 we took a day trip away from our normal stopping grounds and ended up in Steubenville OH. We were seated without having much of a wait. Our waitress (Leymon R) took extremely long to come to get our drink orders (I had time to sit for a few minutes, then leave to use the restroom, and come back and wait even longer before she ever showed up). After we finally got our waitress she came back (eventually) with our drinks (now the real fun starts). Before coming in to the restraunt I had made a decision on what I was going to order based on calorie count (a turkey melt). I told the waitress what I wanted and had to repeat myself 4 times plus point at the picture on the menu. (another long wait) our food comes out cold, but to make the situation even better Leymon sets a Bacon Cheese Burger in front of me, when I said something about it being the wrong sandwich she told me that they were no longer offering the Turkey melt as part of their menu! (thats fine I get it but she literally picked a sandwich for me to eat with out ever asking me!). I eventually got the attention of the manager (to ask for a different sandwich because my waitress wouldnt come back to the table) when I explained the situation he told me that they do still have the turkey melt as part of the menu and brought the new sandwich out to me (now the waitress had lied to me and picked a menu item out for me!). At the end of the meal we had to get the manager to give us our bill because the waitress wouldnt even walk past our table! Needless to say there is no way we will ever revisit this Bob Evans!

It took almost a full hour from sitting down to get food on our table. When it arrived, it looked like they just threw the food on the plate. We saw our waiter 5 times, when he took our drink order, 10min later when he brought the drinks, when he came back to take our order, and then to deliver the food and finally to drop off the check. Never to see if the food was good or if we needed more drinks etc. Other waiters were better though. One table was seated after us, and I think order after us, but they got their food, ate and paid before we got our food.

We thought we would give this Bob Evans another try. We have been here in the past for breakfast and lunch it hasnt been bad, here for dinner again and I do think this has got to be the worst shift they have. We have been here about 20 minutes and can say we wont be back for dinner. My napkin is already dirty when laid on table. My wife ordered a salad with ranch dressing, what do they bring? Italian. Not a happy customer at this point.

I immediately felt welcome here and every single staff member was beyond words polite and courteous. The food was mighty tasty and the price was more than reasonable for the big plates that came with my dindin. I was visiting for a family members service one town over but I was so happy to have had the chance to stop in for a late dinner here because it made my might so much more enjoyable and relaxing.

I call for carryout often, and there is always something wrong with my order. Either they did not listen to my requests or they forgot to give me something. Some carry out workers are not friendly, inappropriate, and snappy with customers. I continue to go there because they have healthier choices for a quick lunch, but I always leave frustrated.

I love this restaurant!!!! Especially their breakfast. I know that sometimes the over salt things but its not all the time. The service is very good I have never had a problem with it. The only problem I have with this restaurant is that they should make their hashbrowns crispy.

Stopped in on Mothers Day for carry out and it took a manager to take care of me because the employees were to worried about someones birthday in the back. As far as the food it was ok at best. To sum it up, piss poor service and so so food. I wont be returning.

Fairly priced restaurant with decent service. I prefer to come in for the steak. The place could use a little updating but is good for a quiet place to have dinner. (Breakfast is good too, just a lot busier at that time)

We were going to have diner here but yet again they were so screwed up that we walked out for the second time in two weeks. Slow service, out of food, management never came to see us. We are done with this Bob Evens.

Bob Evans food is very good... especially their dinner! It tastes like a home-cooked meal. The service is usually ok. The restaurant, however, needs an update and cleaning! If they do that, theyd get 4 stars!
