This place charges you a 4% surcharge to use your credit card. I politely asked the owner about it, and he started getting all shaky and complaining about the fees. If he wants to take credit cards, he should abide by the legally binding merchant agreement he signed with both Visa and Mastercard which explicitly forbid merchants from charging extra fees for using credit cards. If the owner is going to break the rules in this instance, who knows what other rules he is breaking....like sanitation and safety rules.

I love this place. The Reuben and Italian sub are my absolute favorite. They use some type of onion/lettuce mix for the Italian sub that I found amazing, oddly enough as Im not a fan of onion. My only issue it is a bit overpriced and pushing $10 a footlong, but definitely worth it for that once in a while treat for me. The service was quick, but the lunch rush can be unforgiving as the place is rather small. Overall, I would definitely suggest this place to anybody craving a sub.

This place is well known in Kent for overpriced being an overpriced Deli in a college town but for those who venture in the food is well worth the $1 or $2 more than Jimmy Johns & the like. The homemade subs are amazing and the huge selection of sandwiches is mind boggling. I love the racing artwork on the walls. The owner is a race car driving enthusiast. Great location but not so great hours.

Owner is such a raging ass, the foods not worth it. He gets off on humiliating his staff members and making them feel stupid and small. Hes thrown punches at customers and tries to fight with people who change what they want on the sandwich because he takes ot personally. He hates the college generation (which btw is half his customer base). Oh and hes a coke head.

Food quality has gone down over the past few years ... I suspect lower quality ingredients and maybe a looser policy on dating prep. The owner is loose cannon, he once screamed at me for asking for a small change to my sandwich. There was a time the food was worth dealing with him but not anymore!!

Delicious! This is real food, not fast food. The specials listed pastrami on Fridays, we were one day too early! The owner heard us asking for it, came over and said he would make up the sandwiches special for us. Great sandwiches, very nice friendly staff and clean restaurant. Lovely.

Good food, fast service... but the prices are high! I know its more "authentic" and intimate, but you can get a footlong from a run-of-the-mill sub shop for less than the price of any of their 6" sandwiches here. Its a nice treat every once in a while, though.

Good food and delivery are a great combo. Its also nice to see the food being prepared. The interior décor is interesting. Its a mix of a 90s dining room and a man cave full of racecar photos. Looks arent everything, because the food is, again, good.

I dont eat meat, and they have some really great vegetarian choices. 14, veggie caprese, veggie cuban are my favorite. Not a huge quantity of vegetarian choices, but you can not go wrong with any of them. Great place to go to eat, just a little pricey

Great selection of salads, all types of sandwiches, sides and other items! The sandwiches are well-sized...ample but not overly huge portions. Fresh and tasty ingredients. The potato salad is especially wonderful! Will definitely return many times.

OVERPRICED! $4 for soup heated up in the microwave? come on! The sandwiches are alright but quite expensive for the small portions, after spending $12 on a meal they charge you $.25 for a refill... couldnt really recommend to friends.

The best quality sandwiches in Kent, and youre unlikely to find a better deli anywhere nearby. Friendly staff, wide variety, relaxed atmosphere and most importantly meat and sandwich quality which just far exceed its competitors.

The people are always nice and the food is always good! Definitely recommend this place. Its a bit pricey just for sandwichs but worth it. The service is always fast and friendly. The Thursday pulled pork special is the best!
