The only reason I gave this 1 star was because zero was not an option. Will never, EVER go to Pita Pit again and can not even believe how horrible the experience was. Before I begin, my sister and I have been to Pita Pit many times (in Toledo) and thought nothing of ordering delivery from them in Columbus. The weekend of June 18th, my sister and I traveled to Columbus for the Buckeye Superfest. Saturday night, when we got back from the concert, we ordered food with no issues (chinese). Sunday night, we assumed we would do the same thing. After the concert Sunday, we walked back to our hotel (The Blackwell) and ordered Pita Pit around 10:30 PM from GrubHub. I got the text confirming my order and promising my food within a half hour. After a half hour, we were a bit concerned, but figured with traffic it would take a bit longer. We didnt think much of it. At this point, we were absolutely starving but agreed to give it another half hour. After another half hour went by; we called the restaurant to confirm the order. The guy I talked with confirmed the driver was on their way and the food would be there shortly. Another half hour went by, and at this point we were very, very frustrated. Once again, I called Pita Pit. The woman that answered the phone told me that the driver could not deliver the food and we were being refunded because she couldnt get to us. We went back and forth for a minute, but the woman could have cared less. She actually informed us there was a concert (Yes, we know. Why do you think we ordered food to our room?). Again, I was the one to call Pita Pit--they didnt even reach out to us to see if we could meet them. NOTHING. I find this absolutely unacceptable; especially because we had called a half hour before and they confirmed they were coming. At this point, the restaurants we could have ordered from were all closed (it was a Sunday) and we went to bed starving. In addition, while we were waiting, we were able to watch from our window other delivery drivers walking to our hotel to serve their customers! Pita Pit was literally 0.7 miles away. The driver was too lazy to walk to deliver our food? WE HAD ALREADY PAID FOR IT. WE WOULD HAVE EVEN MET THEM DOWN THE STREET. I am absolutely baffled by the poor level of service Pita Pit offered, and it is sad a franchisee can give a great brand a horrible reputation. The people we dealt with were clearly more concerned with convenience for themselves than the customer paying for their service. We have told many people about our incident, and have not been back since. In addition, we have written a letter to corporate in hopes that they know the reputation Pita Pit on High Street in Columbus, OH is giving to their brand. We could not have been the only people this happened to. Concerts and events happen at Ohio State all the time. Pita Pit hasnt put together a plan for when the roads are blocked / busy / closed? I find that hard to believe and just cant believe the work ethic people have now-a-days. The whole situation could have been avoided if the delivery driver was willing to walk. She couldnt have parked a block away and walked? Why are people so lazy? We could have ordered from one of the many other places in town that would have been willing to send their competent staff the couple of blocks to ensure we were able to get our food. We would have even been willing to walk if they communicated to us appropriately. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a restaurant.

Pita Pit has always been a good spot to stop in for a "healthy" alternative to your more frequented fast food places. The vibes at the location in N. High Street across from The Ohio State University campus in Columbus is usually pretty chill in the summer. Of course most places near campus are really busy when school is in session. Most of the folks behind the counter have genuinely cool attitudes and are helpful if you arent too sure exactly what to select. I would recommend this place to most people who may want to try something similar to what theyre use to, yet with a twist. It can be pricey depending on what you choose to get, but thats with just about anything. I prefer the Chicken Souvlaki with my preferences on it, but each person is different. The Buffalo Chicken and the Steak are both tasty choices as well. Just go in one give and it a try if youve never been. Take a friend and share a memory. Hopefully this helps...enjoy!!

This has always been one of my favorite places for a cheap, healthy alternative to everything in the area. It is no longer. This review is based on customer service, I included a photo for reference. Rather than call me to clarify my order and tell me that you wouldnt do something because it was going to cost more, someone left a passive aggressive note on my receipt. You really ought to be able to add lettuce to a pita... Id pay whatever the up-charge would be. Also, I wasnt ordering extra sauce. I was referring to the sauce that was already included on the pita. Now I have a soggy, half made pita that Im not going to even eat because its soaked in sauce. You should have just called me. I would have paid for the stupid lettuce.

PIta Pit has terrible service when it comes to delivery. The food however is completely superb. Out of the 3 times Ive ordered delivery there, twice they got my order wrong. The second time I called back and told them that I ordered a pita, not fork style (like a salad). They brought me a new pita but wanted me to give them back the one the originally gave me... I found that weird. Does that mean people are getting second-hand returns ?? What would they do with food that I could have potentially picked at or done stuff to before i gave it back?? That really creeps me out.

Theres the father, the son, the Holy Spirit, and pita pit. Pita pit is a religious experience and will blow your mind. If you want to try something new go here. Never had bad food, and lots of great healthy options for the same price if not less then chipotle. I love you pita pit please adopt me.

Ive been a fan of pita pit ever since coming to school at OSU but the last time I ordered from them (a chicken pita) I got horrible food poisoning. Id hoped it could have been because of something else but unfortunately that was all Id eaten that fit the time frame.

Terrible customer service over the phone. Took almost ten minutes to order one chicken wrap with a credit card. 45 minute wait time on a Wednesday night. Half the size of the wrap that I ordered when it got to my door. Will not be ordering Pita Pit ever again.

I have never been disappointed with Pita pit! Great selection, the only thing I feel is one pita doesnt fill me up... But maybe that is the idea, get America into shape with healthy eating and moderate portions.

Food was good but the employee on the grill was coughing in the other employees face to be "funny" all right in front of me as he cooked my food. Unbelievably immature and disrespectful.
