We were booking a music festival at this place and the stage was not done as promised, the outhouse was never cleaned as promised (and when asked about it, the venue owner asked something along the lines of "why should we worry about that we rarely use it for ourselves?"), and other promises were left unfulfilled as well. They charged us a dollar for tap water. The sound guy I wrote the check for did not provide sound and instead pawned it off on someone who left the first act unattended for the majority of his set. The replacement sound guy also interrupted our second act in the middle of a song to ask him to turn down his guitar ramp OVER THE SPEAKER SYSTEM rather than doing so between songs. He also muted mics on one of our headliners, and when I asked him not to do so he put his hands on me and screamed in my face, verbally assaulting me while the owner of this makeshift establishment watched on, indifferent to what was happening. When I refused to pay for being assaulted, they shut our whole festival down and we relocated to a much better venue. The food is overpriced, and while two of the bartenders were friendly or at least not rude, everyone else there was downright snappy despite us bringing them tons of business. They mistreated our vendors and our bands and well never work with them again. Not to mention all of the bands have said they are boycotting the venue. They say you cant judge a book by its cover and thats exactly what rings true with this place - you think you find a diamond and it ends up being a shard of broken glass that cuts you. the second you touch it. Happy to say this place was a ghost town after the way they treated us, they deserved it. Also, they broke the law by letting people camp on the bar property, so maybe the government should get involved with them on rules and regulations.

I was there this past weekend for a music fest called NEOfest! My group and i paid to be there and the workers were just plain rude to us. They promised us a few things and failed to do them and seemed to not care. There were Dirty dishes sitting around on the inside for the duration of the time we were there. The food was decent as was the price for certain items. I felt they were understaffed for the event when they had known for some time about the event we had going on. They did not help us promote to bring them more business. They charged us for tap water even though it was very hot outside and we were in the sun setting up tables and instruments for bands who were playing yet some of their regulars got free drinks/water. THey offered us a sound guy to use when something came up and he was completely rude and unprofessional and almost started a few fights and enjoyed screaming in peoples faces.OH and they were letting people camp illegally and after reading more reviews loved learning the fact that they serve minors!!! That is awesome to know. The only thing we didnt have an issue with was the worker Dale who helped with the canoeing part (even though none happened) he was very nice and super friendly!! Sadly I will not return and neither will a huge portion of the people I know.

Rented a kayak and cant speak much for the Saloon. The kayak run was beautiful, the kayaks were a little beat up but what you would expect from a rental place. Very relaxing but short run. Can probably be done in less than an hour and a half if you paddle. The long run was not an option when I went because of a downed tree. Call before if you are looking for the kayaking to last longer than a couple hours to see if the longer one is available. The Livery seems to be kind of an afterthought to the biker bar but we had no issues with it like others have complained about.

This establishment is very unprofessional!! The employees and the owner was very rude, not to mention the food is overpriced. I was there for a music festival and they decided last minute to charge for tap water. Also, while walking to the bathroom towards the front there was a booth that had a dirty plate, utensils, and an empty beer bottle that had been sitting there for 3 days! With the amount of people the music festival was bringing in, you would think the employees would want to keep the restaurant in tip-top shape.

If I could rate a 0 I would. Walked in on a Saturday night and the bartender/waitress? asked if we wanted a table. We said yes and she replied "it will be an hour wait for food because of the bikers" She then turned around and walked away. We decides to stay for a drink, good luck she walked around the bar and served everyone else and then left the bar area. I will never come back again. Drove down the street to Blazin Bills and got a table and food before "the bikers" showed up to Iron Horse.

Using the canoe livery service at Iron Horse is an absolute joke. They opened at 11am today, did not have anything ready and a crowd of people did not get on the water until 12:30pm. We we returned, I had to search through a stack of I.D.’s to get the 5 back that I gave them for a deposit. A person of lesser ethics could have stolen any number of other peoples I.D.’s. This is not their core business and can barely support it. They are in business to serve beer to bikers, that is it.

This is a great restaurant and bar! The staff was friendly and attentive. We had the fresh Walleye and it was delicious served with French fries and coleslaw on a nice fish shaped plate. They had a great selection of beer and one of the largest selection of hand crafted beers I have ever seen:) its open everyday @ 11am although google says different? They also have sand volleyball courts opento the public and a canoe and kayak livery.

I came to Road to Valhalla 3 on Sat the 16th of Aug 2014. The place was jamming of the hook. The food was amazing, and the staff was knowledgeable of the menu and the event! Had a huge selection of craft beers. Drinks were nice and stiff... just the way I like it. I would recommend this place to any of my friends and family!!!! oh and you can rent kayaks and canoes for super cheap for the entire day for no extra charge!

Recently stopped in to the iron horse saloon and my entire experience was amazing! Great staff, amazing atmosphere and they even rent canoes and kayaks! My girlfriend and I had the ribs and walleye... Hands down the best meal Ive ever had. The presentation was great and the only thing better was the food itself. Highly recommend everyone passing on 422 should stop in and get an experience unlike ant other!

The service here is horrible. The waitress was rude and the chef was cussing in the kitchen. It took over a half hour for the waitress to return after I was seated. I was unable to order what I wanted because "it takes too long to make". The menu is overpriced and needs to be updated. The food was below average and the establishment was extremely dirty. I will never go here again.
