The Basement is my go-to bar but dont think Im writing this because I get special treatment or its "my place" or anything like that; theres no bias in that respect; Im writing because it truly is one of the best neighborhood bars. The number one reason that its so great is the food; best bar food hands down, bar none. They have bar food down to a science, and Ive eaten a ton of bar food, its my favorite kind of food. The double-grilled wings are great; the sauce the wings and then grill them to cook in the flavors. Phenomenal. And they have an absolute treat on the dish known as the burnt cheese fold-over. A quesadilla, minus the tortilla, substitute a mass of perfectly brown burnt cheese. Best thing ever. Not to mention all of the bartenders that work here are super nice, especially Nick. They know how to treat their customers right, and that includes the owner, who knows the bar business well. One of my favorite places, go here for sure.

My boyfriend and I were hungry after a long day. We always go here to eat and/or drink. We walk in around 10:00ish pm and we were offered a basement tshirt because my boyfriend was wearing a white Nautica short sleeve shirt. Nice right, because they do not allow white t-shirts in the bar. However, while walking in to get basement t-shirt, we were told we were not allowed to sit at the bar and order drinks. We were only allowed to order food to go. So our money was ok to buy food, just not alcohol. What year are we living in, that we are not allowed to sit at the bar because my boyfriend (who is half white and half black) has on a white shirt? It really is a stereotype and I would consider twice before eating/drinking here.

Great first experience at the basement. Me and a friend came in after work at 5pm today. The "Hot Pants Kaluger" wings were simply amazing. I could eat those all day and everyday. They came loaded with this majestic sauce that made me question reality. After consuming the heavenly wings, I notice every single bartender was drop dead gorgeous and I was assured I was dreaming. This would easily be a 5 star rating from me if the beer selection just had a tad more to offer. A stout or a double IPA with those wings and I dont know how I would stay away from that place. Nonetheless, bravo.

In used to love basement every Wednesday knew the Phillies were great sent my friends and everything!!! I dont know what happen in the last couple of weeks, but the Philly sandwich taste cheek with nacho sauce on it and I was sick for a entire week, and Saturday night had the nacho platter and its half the size with no lettuce and greasy. I have to find another inexpensive food spot for happy, anyone got any suggestion? Sorry but you get a one star from me for this week!!! Long time Philly lover, Tim

3.5 stars... Went here on a Thursday Night... Was 1/2 off chicken sandwiches - got the recommended bacon ranch chicken philly... Yeah - its sounds strange... JUST DO IT - it was very good... 4.5 stars - but its impossible to eat (SLOPPY)... Their bar is strange and crowded - cant quite put my finger on why - height of stools / too many/ height of bar - just not sure - just not the most comfortable - loss of 1/2 star... Staff was nice (there were three of us). Would recommend

My softball team went to your North Canton bar after our game on Wednesday June 14. There were ten of us and only a few other customers in the bar. We waiting over an hour for our order to come. When all the food came everyones came but ours. The waitress didnt put our order in even after we went up to her so we didnt have to yell from the end of the table. So we paid for our drinks and left. We enjoy your bar but are reluctant to come back .

This place has the best chicken bacon ranch philly Ive ever had!!! We eat here every wedsday and the food is always the same GREAT!!! It never taste a little different or smaller its the same great flavor since the very first time Ive had it, and the service is excellent!! Owning a restaurant myself makes me a little judgemental but this place make me wanna strive to provide the same top notch items as here.. Thanks for the great food!!!

Rude service from Bartenders/ Management (Nick). When I asked to the see the Martini list that I had already ordered off of, Nick Laughed at me called me a "Diva" said they dont make martinis there and No I could not see the Martini list. Nick and the other bartenders were rude and Unprofessional. What kind of a bar does not make martinis? Will never be back and will be sure to pass this information around for others as well.

The ladies room had one toilet backed up with toilet paper, the other stall had no toilet paper. Needless to say the rest of the bathroom looked like it hadnt been cleaned in a week. My momma always told me you can tell the type of an establishment by its bathroom. I didnt eat so I cannot comment on that. Please clean the restrooms!!!

The original wait for a server was entirely to long on top of that our server was extremely rude and when I went to ask the manager a question he laughed at me and my table out loud said no and walked away our food came out 40 minutes later and was sub par dont recommend you go on a slow week night you wont be their first priority

Love the bar the food and atmosphere. However the last two times there i walked out because no one would wait on use. Had at least 5 barmaids and they all were to busy chatting. At least look our way and say i will be w you shortly. I am one who tips very well w good service. Will try again but they have to step it up.

Here you will find a fun friendly atmosphere with great food and good music. Prices are good and the employees are very nice. You always see a few familiar faces and atleast somebody will know your name. Its a nice neighborhood bar and you can always find the Game on! Tell--- Tim, Nick and Hailey Hello when you go!

Ive been going to this establishment since it was first opened, and have NEVER been disappointed! Had my bachelor "ette" dinner there as well, and have always been treated respectfully, pleasantly, and promptly! Thanks Nick and staff for always providing an excellent experience!

The fries were good. The bread on my sandwich was soggy and wet. They basically told me thats just the way it comes there was nothing they could do. It stinks too because the flavors were almost there but their attitude about it did not make me want to come back.

The food is incredible. The cheese steaks are to die for. The pizza is home made. Hot pants Kaluger is a signature sauce with just the right amount of zip and flavor. Nick is an amazing bartender and manager. Make it a double if you are thrifty and thirsty.
