They need to rename this establishment to Burke Street Pita. I visited this place with friends after hearing that it was a great place. We originally wanted to place an order for the Barbeque Chicken Pizza. We wanted to add extra veggies and pepperoni and to skip the cheese on one side of the pizza. Now, this sounds complicated, but seeing as how this place makes their own pizzas (and it takes them entirely too long to make said pizza), you would think that they could do whatever you wanted. Not so, the cashier was going to put this order in, but another employee says to him, "We cant do that". There was no other explanation, and he parroted to us that they couldnt do that. So, he suggested that we get the supreme pizza. So, we agreed to get the supreme pizza, but requested that it come half with barbeque sauce instead of the regular sauce and again, one side with no cheese. He begins to put in the order, and the other guy says, "We cant do that". Again! Okay, so we finally say we will take the supreme pizza with the regular tomato sauce, but with one side no cheese. They put in the order and we pay. We waited inside the restaurant for 30 minutes for this pizza to come out. Finally, our number is called. We open up the box to find a "pizza", one half with *some* sauce and cheese, the other half has NOTHING!! We stare at this "pizza" for a few minutes, then take it back to the counter, where we are met with the same employees saying that we told them to "surprise" us. They looked at us like we were the idiots. Um, no, we were very specific with the orders that we wanted and that they wouldnt and couldnt produce. Worst customer service, ever. We will not be visiting this place again.

The food for the most part is always good, however, 9 out of 10 times I have ordered from them, they leave something out. If you want a side of ranch, you must pay $0.50 for it and then they do not put it in the bag. Instead of making this right, they tell you that they will give you a store credit for your next purchase but then never follows through. The most recent order was delivered without garlic knots. When I called they said they could either give a store credit (like that will actually happen) or wait 30-45 MINUTES for garlic knots. This is unacceptable. Also, when I called and told them that the knots were missing I received a long sigh and was told to hold like it was my problem. This is also unacceptable. They will be lucky if I eat here again anytime soon.

I have been here three times since moving locally. While convenient, every time it has been a frustrating experience. I have ordered 2 slices of pizza, hot wings with ranch, and a beverage for lunch each time. On all three occasions, I have had to come up to the counter after 20+ minutes to ask how my order is coming, followed by being asked "what was your number?" by 2-3 staff, followed by "Oh! we forgot --." Never an apology, just a look of bewilderment. This happened each time I have been there. The Pizza was good 2 of three times - this last time I waited 20+ minutes for cold pizza and a blue cheese instead of a ranch dip. That, and this simple order cost $15. No thanks - there are much better options.

Pizza nor Philly Cheese that I just ordered was fresh. Called and manager told me that hed give me a $5 credit. My order was $17 +. Im not one to complain unless theres a valid reason to. Always tip good. And not one of those that complain just to get a free meal. Highly disappointed. Have gotten great food from BSP. But the last couple of times Ive received underwhelming food. Though drivers are always nice. Still disappointed with my vittles. This is coming from someone whos worked at several restaurants.

Cant say Ill be coming back to this location again for lunch. The one on fleming road is much bigger and i dont have to wait near as long for pizza. Cant believe they are so busy they cant throw on an extra toping or 2 on pre-made pizza. Love the pizza.... Disappointed on the service. I eat at the other location at least once a week and love the people that work there. They are friendly and go out of there way to make sure your happy. Cant understand how you have 2 different standards for your stores.

I really want to give it NO STARS!!!!! The food is good but the resturant refuses to deliver to minority neighborhoods. Thr justification is tht they go by a mapped out area but y would u eliminate an area 2 blocks from the store but be willing to deliver 5 to 15 miles away?? The simple answer is because 2 blocks away, everyone is a little dark skinned. It's deplorable that such blatant racism still exist. Thank u, burke st pizza, for letting me know how u really feel about my patronage.

Very good pizza... I like getting their lunch/dinner special for $25 (2 Med 2 Topping Pizza, 2 Liter, Garlic Knots) on Tues (I think)... Service can be a little slow during lunch time, but the food is good. Only issue is that their website states they deliver, but when I called to place an order, gave address they asked where was that located - WS State University - they stated "Oh, we dont deliver to there." Its less than 2 miles away from your establishment?!?! Oh well....

If youre looking for a New York style pizza, THIS IS IT! I grew up in NY and they pizza is hard to touch. But, Burke Street is the best in NC. A classic pepperoni pizza is the way to go. This place is a definite dive but its worth the time. Crispy crust even the next day! The perfect amount of toppings. We drive 30 miles for this pizza and its worth it everytime. They will not disappoint!

I give this place one star, thats just for the pretty menu. Hey, Ive eaten too much pizza in my life -- living in Chicago for 5 years and in the Boston for 7. These folks claim to understand NY pizza, yet load a pizza with canned veggies and the most forgettable sauce this side of Dominos. I hope that they the Robinhood road location soon so that a real pizza place can come in...

Come to Winston on business all the time, I usually go to local restaurants to experience new things. I had no time tonight so I ordered a pizza from this place because they claim to have "New York" pizza. They delivered my pizza to the Downtown Marriott and it was about 5 minutes under cooked. The vegetables were literally raw and the dough was soggy. Was not edible.

Ordered a pizza my first night living in NC, and have averaged one a week since. Wings are good too. Somewhat awkward voice recording picks up when you call, reminds me of the age of answering machines lol. Wish you could order online just cause Im the type of lazy that considers calling someone a task. Deliveries have been timely and friendly :)

Im not really sure about the food because after being told by whomever answer the phone and took my order it would be 40min. I sit here an hour and a half later still waiting. I called and the snotty girl whom took the order only said it was on its way and hung up. I dont care if its the best pizza in the world Im not ordering anymore.
