I always go to Java Dog M-F before I start the day. Their coffee is awesome, they have different house blends daily, and their staff is awesome and friendly. If youre a dog lover, you can always meet some awesome four-legged, furry friends, and theres really cool dog related stuff all over the place...including dog treats if you bring in your pup! They have trivia questions, and you can get a free coffee if you guess right. Fun atmosphere, and I need to come on the weekend and bring my dog. Its definitely my favorite coffee shop downtown, and I cant recommend them enough!

I loved coming here when I was at school at CFCC. The owner and staff are amazing and super sweet. Everything from a plan cup of coffee to lattes to other specialty drinks are great. My dogs also love it. Whenever they would see Paul, they would get so excited! Its a very nice mix of people and dogs! I only wish we had one in Texas now that I am living there!

Its just OK. The coffee drinks are usually well made though nothing spectacular. The pastries, etc., are also ok, though sometimes a bit past their prime. Popular with the CFCC crowd and some diehard downtown wannabe Bohemian types. Usually at least 1 or 2 dogs also hanging out.

Awesome place, nice to be able to take out dogs inside when the weather isnt so great. Staff was polite and made our drinks correctly. There is some room for improvement when it comes to flavor though, I had the chai and it was just bland. Coffee is great though.

Awesome place! My wife and I used to frequent Java Dog back when we were dating in 2006. We now bring our two boys with us everytime when we come back to visit Wilmington. Best coffee ever and super friendly staff.
