I decided to dine out with my three little loves (ages 5 yrs old, 4 yrs old, and 10 months old) this evening and chose to try out Kiwi Cafe and Smoothies over in the Wakefield area. We walked in and checked out their menu and decided on two kids meals (consists of a half sandwich and veggie straws. I think it was supposed to have included juice boxes too, but we did not receive that). I ordered a chicken wrap and a smoothie and my older two kids also each got smoothies. The total was $38.43, which is fairly high for one adult and two small children to eat dinner. After we had ordered and paid for our food, I asked about a high chair, assuming they had one. Nope. NO HIGH CHAIR! I then asked for the manager, as I wanted to point out that a restaurant without a high chair is not kid-friendly (yet they have a small kids menu) and ask where he proposed my 10 month old sit while we eat. The manager was nowhere to be found. The staff working were all young high school aged students. I carried my own food (for myself and children) to our table, while also carrying my baby on my hip. I only had one hand available to get our food set up for us to eat. If there had been a high chair, I could have safely set my baby in the high chair and been able to use both of my hands. One of the smoothies fell and dropped to the ground, spilling everywhere. I told the girl who took my order what had happened and she said that without the manager there, she could not replace the smoothie we had just received and not yet even had a chance to drink out of. I sat there with my children, holding my baby and trying to eat a chicken wrap. When we were ready to leave the owner returned. I explained what had happened and pointed out that without a high chair, they are not kid-friendly. I asked him where he would propose my baby should sit when we eat there and he said the baby could sit on my lap and said they dont have room for a high chair. Another important thing to point out about this experience is that the spilled smoothie stayed there, spilled on the ground the entire time we were there (which is a risk for someone to slip). My family will not be returning to Kiwi Cafe and Smoothies and I suggest that if you have children, that you dont go there either. That was a wasted $38. We will be getting our smoothies from Tropical Smoothie Cafe from now on, as they have multiple high chairs, helpful employees, and lower prices.

This place really needs to get their business in order. I have placed an order over the phone 3 times and 2 out of the 3 times I ordered thru the phone, when I go to pick it up they havent even put it in yet and it hasnt been made. The owner didnt even offer to take care of my meal and apologize for the mistake that had happened and like I said it has happened twice. Then just recently I go into the cafe, once again, and this young girl is working all by herself, making the food and cashing people out while two older gentlemen, Im assuming managers/owners just walk past her and dont help her out. In the meantime 3 people are behind me waiting to be taking care of and they dont even offer to cash people out or at least take their order, so the orders are at least put in. I felt so bad for the young girl I went ahead and tipped her because clearly she was the only person who was working that came with a mind to work. She was a tall, black, really sweet girl with curly hair and shes always working hard when I come in there. If this is how this place is treating their employees and also their customers then I wont recommend this place anymore. The only reason I come in is because I work in the same strip, its convenient, and the food is decent. Highly disappointed.

let me explain whats happened at this business. if you look through old reviews compared to new ones you can clearly see a difference. I used to work at this establishment for about 7 months. When I first began working the owner was Mike, there was a very relaxed tone and customers told us employees how they could tell we loved our job, and I did love my job. Mike was looking to sell the business because he was wanting to move to another state. He hired a manager to learn everything he did so when he left this manager could then teach the new owner. He hired Abigail and she was there for a month or two before Mike sold the business to Augustin. Abigail tried making a lot of changes some successful some not, then when Augustin came into play he talked of opening 2 more locations and he had big plans for Kiwi. Things very quickly started to go downhill, for the employees and the customers. The working conditions became increasingly personal and I decided to leave. Abigail is now gone as well and most of the employees that really knew what they were doing left as well. Business was getting worse and they now raised the prices higher. For everyone wondering what in the world happened, this is it.

I have come to hear at least 10 times in the past three months. Every day until today the smoothies were consistent and delicious. Today, however, my smoothie was so gross that I ended up just throwing it away. I got a smoothie for both me and my husband and both of them tastes like water. There was a new guy working and it was obvious that he had no idea what he was doing. They need to properly train people before putting them out on their own. I do not pay $12 for two smoothies for it to taste like crap. I will not be coming back.

I have always enjoyed the service and the people here. They always greet you with a smile and the owner is super nice. The smoothies are delicious. I usually get the green mango, peach mango, or the muscle builder. The only thing I would say is you have to pick your time because of the wait, but thats only because a lot of people love it. You can also now order online or do the app and its so convenient. The prices are a little pricey but I go once a week now as opposed to 2 to 3 like I used to. I would and do recommend them!!

After leaving the gym I wanted to get a smoothie. So i google this place and thought i should try it plus if i loved it i was to continue to come because it is close to my house and the gym. The first visit was good i had a banana strawberry with pineapples. The next time i went on a saturday morning the door says it opens at 10am but it was closed it was so disappointing. Hopefully it is open when they say its opens when i go the next time because i really like that place.

Went there for the first time today. For $8 you get a wrap and some veggie straws. No drink. The wraps are small and the veggie straws are just poured out of huge veggie straw bags lining the shelves in their kitchen. The muffins appear to be Costco muffins, which are not a healthy option in a place that claims to be healthy. I would suggest a better side option than veggie straws, in addition to lower pricing. I cannot say that I will be going here again.
