i love the general tsos chicken. all white meat, not too bready but a nice crispy crust in a flavorful sauce. service is friendly. i have only had take-out so i cant comment on table service or delivery. i also enjoyed the eggroll and hot and sour soup. for people who enjoy brown rice as i do, it is also available. UPDATE: About a month ago (August 2015), I dined in the restaurant with my friend for lunch and just as we were finishing (thankfully) a cockroach was crawling on the wall right behind me. Now I know that many places might have roaches that I never see, but once theyve made it to the dining room in broad daylight, its game over for me. Originally I gave it 5 stars, after roach 1 star, so I just posted the average of the two scores. Im really bummed because I really liked the General Tsos chicken.

So 5 Stars maybe a bit much, but this place definitely deserves all the recognition possible. All their food is made fresh, not the typical chinese trash food at 99% of the places around here. If you are ordering chinese/thai food in this area this is really the only legit choice. Their japanese is very good as well but there are other local choices that are just as good or better. Fresh ingredients, clean tasting food, they make their own wontons and dumplings, everything Ive had (ordered at least 5 times by now) has been really surprisingly good. It was even good when it was Zen Asian Bistro, PLEASE DO NOT LET THIS PLACE GO OUT OF BUSINESS! Buy their food, enjoy it, tell a friend!

Had to try some new places. General Tso chicken was definitely very good. Good meat to breading ratio. The pad thai (I know, sorry) was not so good - very dry. The beef chow fun was tasty, but dry. The pineapple shrimp fried rice was eh - I thought it kind of tasted rancid, but my kids thought it was just the pineapple. The mushu pork was ... different, but ok. It had what looked like chopped up roasted pork rather than pork thats cooked with the rest of the veg. Lots of cabbage, but not as much egg. And again, felt kind of dry. Even the hoisin sauce was very thick as if it was sitting for a long time.

LOVE this place! It looks kind of sketchy and run down from the outside but dont let it fool you. The sushi is delicious and the dragon and phoenix meal is amazing. Ive also tried the chicken and broccoli and its really good too. The food is real and is affordable. Ive gone to almost every other sushi place in the Garden City/New Hyde Park/Mineola area and this really is the best that I keep coming back to. I definitely recommend going here! Part of me wishes the interior was more cozy but I think they just re-did it. Who cares? The food is amazing.

The food here is incredible. You can usually judge the quality of a Chinese restaurant by their General Tsos, and the quality of the food here is incredible. Unlike other restaurants, they use actual meat and make their own crust and sauce. Its really really a level higher than other restaurants. The same goes for a vast majority of their other foods. Their sushi is freshly made and other chicken dishes were incredibly good.

Ive had really good Chinese food after a really long time because of this place. The service is a tad bit slow but Its definitely worth the wait. I had the General Tsos Chicken Bento Lunch Box and it was amazing. The salad is really good as well. The dressing on the salad makes it ! and it helps that its all cold and fresh. Check this place out, You wont be disappointed at all.

Perfect experience! The Crazy Roll was perfection and it really did leave a kick in your throat from the spicy tuna. My girlfriend loves shrimp tempura, so she got the Snow Mountain Roll and it was to die for! At the end, they gave us fried oreos for dessert! Will definitely be back!

They have a new owner and management as of a year ago food is exceptional. . What ever you order Chinese Thai or Japanese or sushi it is presented beautifully and everything is fresh. Kelly the new owner makes you feel at home. We eat here at least once a week

Kelly runs an excellent restaurant. The sushi is super delicious and a very wide variety. Best part, you can ask for off the menu sushi and if they can make it, they will! Hot dishes are superb. The chicken broccoli and orange beef cant be beat

The atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. The staff was friendly and gave us an order of edamame on the house. The food was delicious, fresh, plentiful, and priced very reasonably. New favorite for sushi!!
