Mediocre bagels and above average wait times. The guys behind the counter were more concerned with their banter that my service. I so noticed that the guy behind the counter only put on one glove while making my order (too much to ask on gloves for both hands) and took what looked like old American cheese from a wad of tinfoil which did not look like it came from a fridge (ordered an egg and cheese on a bagel). There was so a pile of garbage including egg shells (which seemed to have been sitting there a while) and food wrappers on the counter literally next to the grill where they were cooking the eggs. I dont appreciate garbage on a prep station next to my food. Saving grace was this place is very sensitive to food allergies. I didnt end up eating my sandwich but the bagels themselves were ok.

For some large and delicious bagels and spreads, stop by this bagel store in the heart of West Hempstead. At times during the 8-9 AM period, the service has been a bit slow, but that has improved recently.
