UPDATE: I think they read our reviews and have made a lot of changes. The long line, at certain times cant be controlled(its the only sonic on this side of LI and its right by a highway AND a mall) however they have found a way to keep the line to a minimum EVEN DURING rush hour times. I have waited less than 10 minutes each time (during evening rush hour and during spring break). After getting to the stall, the wait time to order is less than 3 minutes and the food came out fresh and hot each time in less than 10 minutes. Granted I dont get super complex orders but still the food had been great each time. They also have better trained the car hops and staff in generalx, the staff is still young teenagers but they are super professional and sweet and helpful now. Even during spring break, there are still teens everywhere BUT they arent loud or obnoxious. So happy with the improvements! Honestly terrible. The wait is horrendous and the employees working the lot are rude and loud, screaming about completely inappropriate things, using profanity and slurs. I get their all likely 16 years old and this isnt a corporate office but show respect and professionalism. I blame management, he was too busy taking pictures of the ridiculously long lines and peoples faces without their consent to actually manage. The order did come out come out correct. Once you actually get to the stall to order its another 15 minutes to get someone to answer then another 30 to get your food. This location has a bunch teenagers crowding around smoking weed and being teenagers, I.e. loud, rude, etc. I went twice and I doubt Ill come back to this location. Even though it is convenient, my safety, gas and time cant continue to be wasted. Save yourself a headache and a half tank of gas and GO TO BABALYON location.

Im sorry to all the people who feel a certain way. I actually work there and I try to stay as positive as I can while dealing with customers. We work as hard as we can inside the shop. We work very hard to get the food out to you as fast as we can. Understand that at different fast food places, they dont have these problems because there is barely a line and this place is very new. You say the employees are dirty. That is only because they are making your shakes, your drinks, your blasts, and your food. They dont come in like that, but they do leave at the end of the day dirty and exhausted from making your food. And employees are probably eating because they are on break. And no we are all not 16 year olds. I am a 20 year old college student and even more muture for my age. Im sorry if you have seen different from others but we are still learning as a whole. For some people this is there first job and they need it to pay for the things they may need. I know I dont disrespect anyone at any establishment just because I can. How would you like it if people wrote about you and how you work. Were all supposed to be a united people right then stop tearing each other down and start lifting each other up. Give the people compliments or even say thank you cause we are working as hard as we can sometimes to the point where we are exhausted, but we keep going cause of you the customer. If you would like to take our place then go right ahead.

Went to check out this Sonic because it was within city limits with some family because we normally go to the one in New Jersey on route 1/9. What a HUGE mistake that was because this place is DISGUSTING. We got the value box for $5 bucks and what came out of the box was not edible at all. The chicken strips were extremely hard, that 1 onion ring was burnt, the tater tots were so dry they crumbled and the 1 piece of toast was rubbery that you couldnt even pull it apart. It was like we received food that was made earlier that day. Mine you my husband & I went to the bathroom after I ordered our food. When i got there i found sonic staff coming out of both the Men/Women bathroom with cook aprons on. When the door was opened to the bathrooms you could see the raw sewage on the floor in both Men/Women bathroom. Personally i know that having a bathroom like this is a health code violation. And staff wearing their cooks uniform into a facility like that is a second one. Never again would i go back to eat there. The only thing that was positive about this visit was the young lady that served us. She was pleasant and a pleasure to interact with.

Over priced and overrated!!! I ordered a regular cheeseburger with no tomato, a fries and 12 piece wings. The girl who took the order was illiterate and couldnt understand that I wanted 12 piece wings, not 4... they dont even sell by 4 pieces! The drive thru line took extremely long, I guess the drive in guests are priority? When I got my food, I received a DOUBLE cheeseburger with no toppings, no lettuce no onions no pickles no mayo or ketchup. It was the sloppiest, driest looking burger ever. It was basically two pieces of bread, two flat dry frozen looking patties and a piece of cheese. Definitely not worth $5 a damn burger at sonic!! The fries were cold and the wings were soggy. The quality of food is horrible at sonic and the customer service is atrocious. Never coming again. You can open a popular restaurant, but isnt proper management, controls or a standard of quality, this establishment will go out of business.

The food is mediocre at best- what youd expect from your average fast food joint with pleasantly interesting drink options to switch up the menu- their service however is terrible and their pedestrian intake method is fatally flawed. They have two (only two) OUTDOOR consoles for people on foot, with no human stationed at them. Only one of them is active at any given time, which effectively means theres only one console. I have been there three times since opening. Every time I have waited over 45 minutes. Im currently waiting in line as Im typing this and my current wait from time I stepped on line till now is over an hour. Very Poorly managed. If it wasnt one of the only good places around my job I wouldnt be back. Think twice about eating here unless you have the patience of a saint.

My husband ran out and got sonic take out. While he said his burger wasnt bad, it was particularly good either. The chili cheese dog I ordered tasted bad and undercooked and was somewhat discolored in the middle which I took as an indication of less than adequate cook time. As for the boneless wing we ordered, they were cooked through but the taste wasnt great either. Im unsure if its just this location or if every sonic is like this but I can say with certainty I will not be returning. On top of the bad taste, poor quality and under prepared food we paid over 30$ for the meal, which as far as Im concerned is insane. I couldve gone to almost any other fast food chain ordered equivalent meals and paid less for higher quality and non potentially sickening food.
