Weve been going to La Gioia for at least a decade. Wonderful people who are warm and friendly, and call us by name (and vice-versa). Boars head meats, Perrecas sub rolls, awesome Italian cookies and the BEST Guanti. They slice the meat and veggies for each sandwich they make... SO fresh! Oh, and THE BEST homemade meatballs I have ever had. I cannot say enough about this deli. I have never found better in the entire Capital area.

Amazing place... I had the buffalo chicken sub for the first time there: got some bleu cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, banana peppers and I really had a field day with this sub. Price is better than Subway for sure, and quality of meats and veggies are no competition. Really the best place Ive gotten a sub from.

Top quality ingredients, very friendly family owned place, at the lowest prices of any sub shop Ive been to in the area. Footlong Boars Head Turkey Sub, Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Mayo for about $5.50. Subway uses junk imitation meat and that same sub is over $8 bucks. Best deli in Schenectady.

These guys treat you right. Almost like family. Warm smile, a hello & the food is excellent. Their subs are hard to beat. They get you in & on your way the fastest Ive ever seen in a deli. Great place to get a good sub, quick enough, & at a good price.

Wow! Great turkey sandwich. The best I have ever had. The Italian bread was crusty but yet soft. The layers of turkey and tomato and lettuce was just the right amount. The Italian dressing was delicious. The price was great!

I love this deli! Their sauce and meatballs taste like my own. When I dont feel like cookie too much, I go here and pick up dinner. Ask the ladies any thing, they ll tel you how to cook it. not too expensive, def worth it!
