Only THREE Stars and I am not upset that i was seated directly across from the kitchen on an early reservation in an empty resturant but I was quickly relocated after voicing an objections. This review is only based on the two appetizer three main courses and the two deserts. The atmosphere was very nice and the service was outstanding and the food come out in a timely manner. The appetizers was the Bang Bang Shrimp and the Calamari. The Calamari was great, soft firm and seasoned, the sauce that came with it was absolutely delicious. The Bang Bang Shrimp was recommended but it should have been called the Wimpy Wimpy Shrimp. This was so disappointing there was no Bang and the the only saving grace to this dish was the fact that the Shrimp was perfectly cooked but the sauce which was Sriracha and mayo tasted more like ketchup and mayonnaise and had no heat, kick or flavor of Sriracha but if you scrape that so called Bang bang sauce off and dip it in the sauce that comes with the Calamari then you will OK or just order the fried Shrimp with the Calamari sauce. Now the main course, the Talapia, Lobster tail and fried rice with crab was nicely done and perfectly cooked. HOWEVER... the Bone in Rib Eye steak at $30 on the menu is so misleading. When you see Bone In Rib Eye, you would think the whole Rib in and a thick steak which determines how you would order that steak cooked. They should have said on the menu Rib Eye thin cut with a peice of bone in it. If you are a steak lover, this is the item to avoid unless you want to be disappointed with what you are getting but if you do order it medium rare anything more you run the risk of eating a leather shoe and then you will need to use that steak knife instead of a dinner knife, other than that misleading menu item the THIN CUT RIB EYE WITH A PEICE OF BONE IT was disappointing and was delivered on the verge of being over cooked but still had enough juice to avoid the use of the steak knife on this $30 THIN CUT RIB EYE WITH A PEICE OF BONE IN IT. The deserts was nothing exiting, Key Lime Pie which tasted more like lime pie. That steak was the land mine in this resturant maybe the next time I will avoid the land mine but more than likely not because apparently they can can do seafood but oversell the steak expectation maybe a lamb dish and scrub one of those sirloin dishes and the Bang Bang Shrimp needs to deliver what it claims Overall I would recommend this resturant

After the Christmas shopping mayhem and the rounds to friends & family to bear gifts, it was time to start winding down. So, the family and I decided that Bonefish Grill at Rockville Center might be the place to start with - TOTAL FAIL! For the record, we have been to the Rockville location numerous times and have been observing its demise. This post Christmas visit was the "last straw" for us. Our server was inexperienced and very slow. She first served us bread that was rock hard(No quality assurance/Fail #1). After we requested a fresh loaf, it took her 20 minutes to return with it(Fail #2). Appetizers arrived after a 45 minute wait(Fail #3). When the main course arrived, the filet that I ordered medium was served well done(F#4), it was returned to the kitchen, and then came out a second time. THIS TIME, RAW(F#5). After notifying the waitress about the steak being raw on this second pass, she states "But you asked for it medium"...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(F#6) Im surprised, I didnt lose it at that moment. So, after being forced to explain, "I asked for a medium steak; not raw, not rare, not well", she takes the steak to the kitchen. On the last pass, she returns with the same steak that was not re-fired(F#7). I ask her to wait while I cut into the steak. Before I could cut completely through the steak, she INSTRUCTS ME - "THATS MEDIUM!". I.E making it clear that it wasnt going back no matter what(F#8). Management never came out to address us about the situation(F#9), Not even sure that management was on the job enough to have been privy to what was going on in the restaurant at the time. Management is something I havent seen there in over 10 vists. This dining experience infuriated me, and I didnt realize how much until I left. In hindsight, I wish I demanded a discussion with management. In any case, this visit has sealed the deal for us. Bonefish Grill at Rockville Center is one we will no longer be patronizing. AGAIN - PLACE HAS BEEN ON A FAST DECLINE, NOW A TOTAL, COMPLETE, ABSOLUTE FAIL!!!!

I came to this restaurant for lunch on a Saturday with my sister. I made a reservations for 12pm but they were definitely not needed because the place was pretty empty. When we arrived it was not clear where the parking for bonefish was. The posted sign mentioned valet service but we saw no valet. When we asked we were informed that the spot we were in was just fine. Once we entered the restaurant we were immediately seated but I am not sure why we were seated way in the back. There were no other diners present in the restaurant until about an hour later. The décor was very interesting to look at and the seating was plush. Our waiter greeted us almost immediately so we had to ask for time to look the menu over. The lunch menu was very short and the liquor options out numbered the food options. We ordered the bang bang shrimp as our appetizer which was better than what I remember when I went to bonefish in the Florida area. For my entrée I chose the Chilean sea bass with whipped garlic potatoes and snap peas while my sister had the Baja fish tacos. My sister chose to simply have water with lemon while I ordered their wild orchid Hawaiian martini. My drink choice was a winner because my drink was delicious and fruity without being overly sweet or syrupy. I could definitely taste the refreshing coconut water and pineapple. Overall, the service was great as well as the food. I definitely will return but wish they had a location more central to the five boroughs on NYC so I dont have to go allll the way to Rockville Center!

Made a reservation...got there on time but was given a beeper and waited 10 mintues. Waiter was pleasant...but we received our starters about 15 mins before our drinks. The drinks contained more ice than drink and when I asked the waiter for re fill without ice he advised that we would get a lttle more than half glass of drink because that is how its done there..the lemonade claimed to be freshly squeezed but it was Minute Maid...the waiter aplogized for running out of straws...out meals came about an hour after we ordered and the potato au gratin was microwaved..the restaurant seemed to be understaffed for the amount of clientel, and the present staff seened very inexperienced...after all it was only Palm Sunday! We witnessed guest at another table who was there before us ....receive their order at the same time we received ours and returned it...another guest commented to us that the people that sat in the booth before we did ate with their coats on..we did too...because it was very chilly and uncomfortable. In an earlier rating someone said that Bone Fish Grill was an upscale Red Lobster...have to disagree at least at Red Lobster you knew what you in for!! Have to say Bone Fish Grill RVC was very disappointing...would not return o recommend.
