Grew up in the Hess neighborhood and have always LOVE their sandwiches. I was in the area and ordered a few subs to go today and was disappointed. I ordered a mozzarella sub which was actually provolone. Also, there was very little meat, cheese, and the fixings on all of the subs. Quality was still good but there were a few issues. Overall, Id still recommend Hess!

Absolutely went down hill. Called in for a roast beef on hardroll told me 20 minutes. I sat there for 45 minutes and watched people come in order 6 subs and receive and my order wasnt started. I said excuse me but i ordered sandwich and have been waiting a ridiculous amount of time. I recieved and attitude. I Will never give them my service again. Ridiculous

I have been going to this store since I was a little kid. Their subs are by far the best you can get in Port Jervis. The only problem is that they dont accept credit cards as of June, 2010, but they have an ATM inside.

Cash only... no plastic. Very good food, service and prices. Generous portions, fresh ingredients and excellent quality. Friendly staff. Way better than the junk you get at Subway and cheaper too!
