Panda has been operating under the same ownership for at least 25 years (since Ive known them). Inside, they havent done any upgrading whatsoever. I dont think they have changed a ceiling tile in 25 years; however, recently I noticed they might have replaced the carpet but you cant really tell. If they did, its the same color. The food is excellent. Their kitchen is clean, Ive seen it. They have really, really great Egg Foo Young (order extra gravy on the side). And my husband says you can always tell a good Chinese restaurant by their pork fried rice (which is great too). I trust a restaurant that has been operating in the same neighborhood under the same Owners for so long. Most of these restaurants change ownerships constantly. You can bring your own wine (they have no liquor license) and they dont charge a cork fee. The sit down is always empty. Interior is original and old, but who cares? The food is really, really good. The operators are friendly. Give it a try. Its the best Chinese food weve ever had in Suffolk.

I recently went into the Panda restaurant for a quick Chinese take out order. I was greeted by a young courteous Man. The wait was not long at all, and the food was hot and delicious, ready for me to enjoy. It was definitely better than a lot of Chinese food takeout or sit down restaurants I have ever had, the best in Northport for sure. I ate the food in full enjoyment and will definitely be back for more!! Thank you.

I ordered a pretty simple take out dish and the food was bland, they skimped on the chicken and the owner was acting like I was inconveniencing him. There were like two people in the restaurant and it looked like someone vacated the joint back in 88.
