Poor service, 1 of 2 dishes were awful. Do not order the salmon limone. Other food may be great, like the calamari but my entree could not be eaten. It consisted of an over cooked salmon with the distinct taste of old, about 25 capers mixed into the sauce and a few artichokes that couldnt bother to be chopped. Needless to say even after a few bites I needed another glass of water. 25 capers?! Despite the name being limone sadly I couldnt taste much lemon over the capers and fishiness. I guess i was already off to a bad start when my waitress said "you want what?, oh I dont think anyones ever ordered that before" as I pointed to the menu. When I told her about the plate being entirely way to salty she responded "sorry man" as if I was dealt a bad hand of cards and walked away. There was also "yes, we have that" when I asked for a water. Very odd service. To pick further I guess, it was a pretty ugly plate. Pasta, artichokes, oil, and a dull pink salmon if you can image is a palette of blah. A simply sear, bit of spinach or tomatoes or anything really would have been nice just so I could at least look at it.

Always having an awesome experience coming in here. Food is beyond delicious, there are few staple dishes that I love but the owner constantly surprises with something new and interesting. Pizza is so Italian (many Italian restaurants claim to have one but they rarely deliver), they have such a great variety of pasta, and the main dishes. I really appreciate they use local produce, everything is fresh and natural. I always feel great after eating there, never bloated even after eating pasta or teramisu ( they have the best one, its a must try) The vibe is so welcoming and homelike. The service is on point, everybody is so nice and attentive, you can really tell that people who work there are happy. Its perfect for a datenight, a party or just a family gathering. Thank you guys so much for delivering impeccable experience every single time!!!

Today my wife and I came to this restaurant to have a good meal. My wife and I ordered a white wine on the menu and got something totally different. We ordered salad and thank god it was as it stated on the menu. When it came to dinner my wife had the chicken Marsala and I was to have from the signature menu grilled skirt steak and shrimp. Well, to my dissatisfaction, my steak turns out to be a regular steak with bone and lots of fat. We presented that dismay to our waitress Cory and only to be told that she has no idea what we ate because she is a vegan. My experience there today was very dissatisfied and misleading what is stated on your menu and to get something different. I will let it be known that your establishment practices this method to all.

Having grown up an Italian in Queens I NEVER thought Id find good pizza on Long Island. Ive tried so many places & been disappointed so many times I gave up. Then I walked into La Capannina & gave them a shot. Ive been back twice in 2 days! Tried 3 different kinds of pizza & love them all. FINALLY I can eat pizza again. Food is so good it brings back memories of when I was a kid walking around the block to our favorite pizzeria with a handful of quarters for a slice & a coke. Clean & delicious! What more can you ask of a restaurant? Ive eaten the pasta here for dinner, too & its a real treat!

Wait staff were all young attractive females, they all had really great bodies, including solid cleavage. Aside from that; the service was remarkably slow and inattentive, the food was average at best, prices were above average (on the high side), I dont think I would go back. In the future I would just visit any of the other billion pizza places on Long Island who are capable of making this type of food. The soda was great.

Had an amazing time with great food and service from the owner herself. This little Italian place serves excellent food in the restaurant and take out. Delicious. The decor is charming and the atmosphere and our host so helpful and accommodating. They now have a full bar! Enjoy much success our new friend. We will gladly tell everyone how fab this place is! See you again very soon and yes my husband can bartend again.

I ordered after looking up online their house pizza at $21.00 when I got there to pick up I was told it was $28.50 for the pizza and that price online was wrong. I ask to speak to someone not to argue but for them to understand the problem. I was told the person was on an important call so I waited five minutes and nobody came over. I finally left not worth it many good places to eat with better customer service.

Came here Memorial Day weekend with my boyfriend and his grandparents who had just flown in from out of town for the weekend. Coriann (sp?) was an excellent server. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and even brought out free dessert after our pizzas took a bit longer than expected (though the pizza was delicious once we got it). Definitely recommend the chicken parm pizza, caesar salad, and cannoli.

Been going for 4 years, wont be going back. New owner new menu are ok. But what I wont tolerate is a cheap move of charging extra if I want spaghetti or linguine with my chicken parm. Told only pene with meal anything else is extra. Macaroni costs pennies and you already have it for other dishes, so its just a cheap ass move to gouge the customer.

Just came back from Holtsville location. Ordered my favorite dish Tuscan grilled pork. Its been a favorite for years. Was practically inedible. The pork was tiny, paper thin and tough as shoe leather. Dish was 1/3 the size previously served. Never had any complaints before. Favorite place rapidly going downhill. What a disappointment.

I ordered a Sicilian slice; the dough was raw. I brought it back, all for a regular slice. The pizza man picks it up work his bare, sweaty hands, and throws it in oven. It was 6:00PM. All of the pizza on country looked like it had been there since lunch. Why is it so hard to get a decent slice of pizza ?!

Owner is extremely rude. Food is not that great either. Used to be regulars every Thursday for years mostly due to the entertainment of the Singer. But will most definitely not be not be back due to the lack of care for customers and the Mediocare exspensive dishes.

Very good restaurant! Chicken parmagiana was excellent. Homemade sauce and large portions of chicken. Someone else ordered chicken francese which was just ok but sauce too thick. Mixed vegetables was delicious and free garlic bread amazing. Will come back!

Had 3 different types of pizza pies here. Theyre good, but not great. Well still come here because we recently moved to the area and the place is really close, but Im hoping to find something as good as Colosseo pizza in port jeff. station...

Food was very good, but the room can get very loud when it gets busy and the overhead music is playing. They also need to redirect their air conditioner, the wind from that unit makes eating along the window tables very uncomfortable.
