I am from the Cleve OH eastern suburbs. My son moved to Brooklyn a few months ago. While visiting him during Xmas time -his suggestion was for me to try Espinal Deli- he raved about the food and he was correct & it was on point! Delicious-Delicious..On a Sunday I ordered the pepper steak over yellow rice...Yummy! also, not bad for 7 bucks - I ate it for lunch & still had enough leftover for dinner, Too bad the menu changes daily...I will be going back the next time I am in Brooklyn.

I didnt get a chance to eat any of the delicious-looking food here. I just want to thank the very nice guys behind the counter who helped me, a damsel in distress, on Jan. 23 2014 when the G train went out of service and I had no idea where I was and how to get home. They called a car service for me on their cell phones and let me wait in the store until they came. Chivalry lives! Viva Espinal Deli Grocery!
