Wow, what a pleasant surprise this little gem that is tucked away in Bronxville. The service is excellent, from the time you walk in you are treated to warm greeting ,smiling staff, and either the owner or the manager came to our table to be sure we were enjoying our meal and it was really nice. Now, lets talk about the amazing, tasty food . We had the chicken fajitas with fresh flavorful rice and refried beans. Also, their guacamole is fantactic. I would recommend this place to my friends for sure. Great place, oh and Rosie our waitress is a sweetheart. Forgot to mention that the owner or manager came to our table and greeted us and wanted to be sure everything was ok. So nice!

Another local hotspot in Bronxville (I believe they have other outlets too), Blue Moon serves very commercialized but pretty delicious Mexican cuisine (so dont go here looking for very authentic Mexican). The staff is always welcoming and the decor is festive while cheesy. The menu is very reliable and rarely changes (so if you like something, youre likely to see it again), and the margaritas are great. The restaurant is very suitable for groups and for kids, and youll always hear the sound of "Birthday" (The Beatles version) playing to celebrate someone. They also have great Community Nights for local charities to take advantage of you.

Last night I ordered for delivery at 7:51PM and my food did not get to my house until 10:20PM! I knew ordering for delivery takes a very long time (sometimes an hour) but over two hours later is ridiculous. Not only was the food ice cold but I called two times and spoke with a man that was extremely rude and said they "got busy" and that "the website does not give an accurate delivery time". The only reason why I am giving this two stars is because I have been going to this blue moon for years and never had an experience like that.

As we were sitting tonight at Blue Moon Cafe, we were just getting ready to order and a mouse came running across the top of the padded bench. You wouldnt expect to see a live mouse out in the open running across the decor. It was awful. We quickly grabbed our coats and headed for the door. The Manager said he would call the exterminator, and also said, "IT HAPPENS EVERYWHERE". Well, it doesnt happen in restaurants where we stay and eat.

This place was great. My friend and I sat at the bar since it was so crowded. There was only a 5 to 10 minute wait for a table, but we were so comfortable at the bar that we ordered our food there. We were given fresh chips and salsa right away, they threw in a cocktail on the house at one point during the night and the food was FANTASTIC. I had a taste for Mexican food and was totally satisfied!

Have ordered from this place in person, sat and had dinner and have had delivery. 2 of 3 were great. They do not understand that if you advertise food will be delivered in 60-70 mins that does not mean 2 + hours. Due to this and the manage not really caring that I was upset about this I no longer eat from this restaurant despite having pretty good Mexican food for this area

We used to love Blue Moon, best margaritas in the Bronxville area. However, on 2 occasions, we found hair in our food. After the first we decided to give them another chance because we enjoyed the food and drinks so much. Needless to say we were extremely disappointed and will not be going back. Check your food carefully before you take a bite....

We were a bit upset because the order took 2 hours to arrive but they said the delivery had car problems which is understandable. They still delivered the order, even when we cancelled the order which I say is great customer service. However, the key is follow up with the customer when an emergency happens. Thanks, well be ordering again soon.

Went on a Friday night. It was very busy and we were seated right away. Had the Buffalo calamari to start. It was crispy and tasty. Had the Bayou Moon burrito. It was OK, but nothing fantastic. It was way too big to pick up and the shrimp were whole. Overall it was good and I will come back to try something else.

They delivered to my house in yonkers in the time that was estimated (60-70min) and the person was nice. The guacamole was good but seemed more of a side than an appetizer that I ordered. I liked the chicken quesadilla but tacos werent soft. Dessert seemed kinda lackluster.

A nice Mexican restaurant with decent sized portions and room enough to accommodate large groups looking to all sit at one table. there is a nice bar upon entering to hang out at if youre looking to kill time waiting to be seated or the rest of your group to arrive.

Sat at the bar. They automatically brought me chips and salsa which was great. Not usually a fan of Mexican but my friend suggested it and I thought it was actually really good. Service at the bar quick and efficient. Will come back for dinner soon.

I wasnt really impressed but they have excellent simple queso, salsa, and margaritas. Every menu item is "okay," and they dont do veggies or fish super well. Id prefer an Applebees or Chevys.
