Just ordered tonight for the first and last time!! Seen good reviews and have heard good things about it, now Im questioning whom I associate with and wether or not I will ever trust a review. My entire family is mad at me for ordering our dinner from here. It was a pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms and 2 plain slices. Not a soul is satisfied or have anything nice to say about it. Total failure on this one.

I grew up in this town and every Monday my mom would come home with their cheese pizza. To this day, I still consider this restaurant to have the BEST pizza Ive ever tasted. I now reside in New England and no pizza beats Vesuvios pizza. Whenever Im in the area, I will make an effort to visit Vesuvios to have a slice. Decent prices, fast, efficient workers, and GREAT pizza!

The food is average at best - nothing to rave about - and as a previous reviewer pointed out, they get away with mediocre fare and excessive prices due to the lack of nearby competition (read: within a couple miles). Plus, the manager is frankly rude and a jerk. There are far better pizzerias around provided youre willing to drive an extra 5 to 10 minutes.

Been going to Vesuvios for over 30 years, when we moved to NJ from NY. the only pizza my parents (Dad from the Bronx, Mom from Queens) liked. But more than liked... my whole family LOVES it. Excellent sauce. Perfect crust. Consistently good food. Yes, it is a little pricey. Delicious!!

Mediocre pizza with unfriendly service. I asked if they had a small pizza, and a person who I assume was a manager/owner said "We only have one size, just like everyone else" in a very unfriendly manner. Bland crust, very little sauce. Cheese was okay.

We have been eating VESUVIOS food for 40 yrs..have gone out of the box a few times and no one compares to the excellence of their food not to mention they are in walking distance as well..just a bit pricey is the only reason for not giving 5 stars....

This place doesnt deserve my money. The owner and the guy that runs the place are complete jerks and the prices are expensive. Would rather take my business elsewhere and never set foot in their again

Our family loves the pizza from Vesuvios. A delicate balance of great seasonings in the sauce. Last year we catered food from them for a party and we were well pleased with our order.
