I wrote my first review months ago. But today 06/09/17 I was very disappointed in the quality of the food I received.. I ordered food through uber eats and I feel because I wasnt there in person they took no care in the preparation and the presentation of my food.. I ordered 3 different burgers and they were all a disappointment.. the devil burger was missing most of the ingredients and the veggie burger was a sloppy mess. Sad to say but I feel I can no longer Bragg about them or give them my business in more... Write 7 months ago...I walked in and planned on just ordering my Burger and leave, but I ended up staying and had drinks... The atmosphere was nice and the service was pretty good they forgot some of my order though but other than that I cant complain because the burgers were good the drinks were good and the atmosphere was right on point for a Friday afternoon...

$14 for an overcooked basic cheezburger (i ordered medium well) & a handful of fries. waitress checked on us once...about 30 seconds after we got our food. i had to flag the waitress down to get mayo, refill on beverage and extra sauce...too busy behind the bar talking to "bar regulars" to tend to diners. my sister-in-law got a decent sized chicken sandwich and fries for $10...wish i wouldve gotten it instead of the hockey puck i overpaid for. table had burnt crumbs on it when we sat down that i ended up cleaning off and blaring hip hop music with "f" and "mf" and so on every 30 to 90 seconds...on a devils game nite where kids are eating. i can out curse anyone, but not when i have my wifes 15 year old sister with me. dont think ill ever go back & i frequent the pru center and restaurants before the game!

As others have said this place is clean and has a great atmosphere- I get a HipHop diner vibe which is both original and pretty fun. The food is good in my opinion, not the best burgers but not the worst either. The service is always great, Ive never had a problem with any of the staff and theyve always been kind. Sadly it takes forever to get the food, so set aside an extra 20-30 min just in case. Another issue is the music selection, as someone once said know your audience and playing a mix of 90s Rock and 80s synth pop in the heart of Newark seems a bit tone deaf, the management should really let the staff pick the music. Really. I mean, I love Boy George, but theres a time and a place for everything.

Super leckere Burger und total liebe und nette Bedingungen. Waren als Touristen unterwegs und wurden total nett und zuvorkommend behandelt. Man hat sich richtig wohl gefühlt. Als Dessert wurde uns noch einen richtige Eis cream gezaubert die gar nicht auf der Karte stand. Voll zu empfehlen. Gehen morgen wieder hin!!!!

I went to this great local establishment not to long ago and I was really impressed with the service and attention I received from this one particular bartender named Carmen. Unfortunately after going there recently I come to find that my favorite bartender was no longer present and honestly, things have not been the same with current staff... wish they bring her back.... just me 2 cents

Great little burger joint in Newark. California burger is my go too. The place is super clean and food is quick. If youre craving a pizza you can order a pizza from the adjoining pizza place next door. My go to place for burgers in Newark.

The food was decent, greasy... but if fried so what do you expect? The staff was friendly, but kept forgetting stuff that the table asked for. It WAS packed, but it seemed like it was too often.

Love the burgers... Lots of ice cream for a great price... Its connected to the pizza place so you can have both. But the customer service is ok... Very friendly... Just not super attentive.

Stopped in to get lunch had a great milkshake. I kicked mines up with a little vodka. Burgers are really juicy, but it would be nice to have some type of fish sandwich on the menu.
