Overall one of the better places to eat in the area.The room is light and airy with great views of the inlet.The food was excellent.It truly seems there is a chef in the kitchen who knows what he is doing.I had the pork bun roll and the shrimp fra diablo.Both were some of the better dishes Ive eaten in the shore area .This will now be one of my go to places in the area. The only matter keeping this from being a five star review was the service.The waiter was friendly and attentive at first,but as the meal went on:the service was spotty.We were done with dinner and had to wait far too long to request coffee.We also had to wait for our check.The waiter never even asked if we wanted desert.I would go back for the food,and hopefully the service will improve.

I love everything about this place. I love the food, I like the service and I especially love the atmosphere. My nephew called The Tavern and explained he would like to have a baby shower for his,wife there. He was told event planner would be back in touch momentarily and waited until the next afternoon with no callback. He called again and was told to email event planner which he did but that also received no response. I personally went in to speak to her and was told she was not available but would return my call. Another day went by and I tried one last time and was told i would receive an immediate call back, that was 24 hours ago. We are now going with McLoones who followed up immediately

Went there for little Siss bday dinner. They were accommodating and sat a large party outside. The short rib was amazing and so were appetizers. There was a mishap where above stairs they dropped a tray of glasses that rained down on a few of us and table. This could have ruined night but manager was very sincere and handled it well, and waitress was visibly upset and apologetic even though she had nothing to do with what happened. They turned something that could have ruined night into something that is a funny story when we look back on it. Accidents happen glad at the way the handled everything.

It started with a dirty menu then the broken table. After moving to the new table they sat people at the broken one and drinks flew. The special was Halibut so I ordered it canned tuna would have been better. I sent it back and said make me something quick so I would not be eating alone after the rest of the group had finished. Pasta Bolognese was agreed on and was very good. The bill came and the Halibut was on it. First and Last visit. The Lobster boil was very good I picked while waiting. My Brother and I share a birthday and try a new restaurant each year, cant win them all.

My favorite place to eat and spend time sipping champagne with great view. Food is good, organized in lunch and dinner menues (no brunch unfortunately), and raw bar. Desserts are decent, my favorite is lemon cake. Nothing beats the sunny terrace right by the water on a summer day. They carry a big wine list, which is always a plus, and their manager is very professional. Happy hour is offered at the bar and it includes oysters. If you explore the area more, in the season you can find their Tiki Bar, steps away from the restaurant.

This is our second experience at Beach Tavern. It was our 38th Wedding Anniversary. The Wait Staff was awesome. He was very engaging, explained ALL the specials and new menu items. We got our water, bread, drinks right away::::compared to our last visit where the wait staff forgot the bread and brought the wrong cocktail. My husband got the fried chicken; so moist and delicious. And I got the broiled Lobster. DELICIOUS!!!!!! Definitely referred others and will be our "go to" place to eat.

Went there 2x in past 30 days for the Sunday Happy Hour and was charged full price both times. Requested mgr none came, wrote letter of complaint received apology, statement saying they are including "excluding holidays" on happy hour menue and a $50 gift card that barely covers the xtra that i was charged. I drove 25 miles 1 way to meet friends, drink eat, n watch the ballgames only to get overcharged. HOW LONG HAS THIS BEEN GOING ON. They opened in 2014

I went to Beach Tavern last week with my family and will never being going back there again. Its a shame because the food was not horrible, a little over priced but would have been worth it had our server, Javis had not been rude and arrogant, never smiled once or checked on us once we got our food. Javis stood there staring at us the whole time and bad mouthing the other customers with the servers. Needless to stay I will not be returning there.

Every bite was delicious. We had fresh crab meat, tomatoes with mozzarella and ricotta, a pasta Carbonaro and then pancakes with ricotta and lemon and blueberries. Oh and the white wine sangria was amazing too. It was one of the best meals Ive ever had. I know thats a bold statement, but the people I was with agreed. The decor and views were great too. I really wasnt thinking about taking pictures. Oops.

Seating is nice. But service is VERY weak. Waiters forget your orders. Manager is loud and obnoxious. Looking for a reason to yell at employees and customers. Menus stay at the table for the entire meal. Would not repeat for sure.

We had a very good waitress, the food was exceptionally good, and of course the Vue was outstanding. The negatives were, it was very noisy and a bit pricey. I would definitely recommend this place and go back again.
