I went to carvel just the other day to get the fudge brownie dasher sundae. Little did i know, that when i called earlier that day to find out the hours THEY WOULD LIE. I drove there and used a lot of gas (which is expensive these days) and parked my car right outside the carvel store. Let me mention that it was 10 30 pm. they had told me they closed at 11. the lights were on and the open sign was illuminated. I then proceeded to try and open the door, but alas, it was locked. I was absolutely devastated. From the window i could see the young lady behind the counter just looking at me. I motioned with my hands as if to say, "are you open?". She looked at me with a cold (stone, they deserve all of our business!) stare and said no. This situation left me crying on the streets of elizabeth, leaving my friend (bless her soul) who does NOT have auto insurance, to drive me to the 24 hr shoprite to buy store bought ice cream (YUCK). I think everyone reading this can understand my negative review. And i still havnt gotten my fudge brownie dasher sundae. I dont believe i ever will.

worst experience worst Owner ever! went in to purchase a ice cream cake, wanted to pay with my credit card. after standing there for 15minutes waiting for girl at the register to fix the register, she told me it did not work. i spoke to the owner he told me well i have two options leave the cake or leave my card number! after standing there for 20minutes u would think an owner would be apologetic... but he did not apologize at all... horrible horrible costumer service and may just be the worst owner of all time!

This store is so over price compared to a few others ..almost $3 for a kid cone!!!! Carvel is not cheap but to over charge completely is ridiculous!!! Plus they dont give free samples of soft ice cream even if they dont have the hard product in stock. I will stick to the one in linden..

First time there but worst experience ever. There is a young girl working there very rude. She gave me the wrong order didnt even take the time to charge me for my order. Had someone else do it and he gave me the wrong change. Just terrible service wouldnt go there again!

Great store, good location & parking. Picked up some ice cream cakes which were decorated very eloquently. Help very friendly and customer oriented. Owner gave my son a sample of different flavors. Strongly recommend Carvel.
