The service here is horrible. Besides being extremely slow, which I could forgive because they were busy, they were rude and accommodating. I ordered a glass of "cats pee" wine (its really called that); before it came, because it took forever to come, my husband ordered a glass too. When mine came and we tasted it, we were surprised that it really does smell and taste like cat pee. I thought just a little and could tolerate it, but my husband hated it. We flagged down the waiter and told him to cancel the husbands order. Waiter said sorry, its already been poured. Seriously? Even if it had been brought to the table and he didnt like it, it should have been removed and taken off the bill. Thats just good customer service, and Ive never been to a place where its been done differently. The food, however, is pretty good but there were issues there too. I ordered the examine falafel tacos. They tasted great, but the two pieces of falafel per taco were tiny. I mean, come on, edamame isnt that expensive. What I ended up with were slaw tacos. We started with the gochujang wings. They were excellent. They did come with some kind of sauce, no idea what it was. It was totally flavorless and not needed. Husband had cod, he enjoyed it. Even though the food is really mostly good, we wont go back because of the service. Just too many things to list. Like watching our drinks sit in the bar for ten minutes, then when the waiter finally goes up to the bar, instead of bringing them over, he stands there waiting for a different glass of wine to be poured, delivers that and * then* brings our drinks. Oh, and husband ordered a flight, waiter walked off without telling us what was what until we asked, then he bought the cheat sheet. Just so disappointing. But customer service is half the experience of a restaurant.

Not a bad spot by any means. The Leatherhead boasts a very respectable beer list, including both craft and crap options for drinkers of every description, as well as food options that include everything from simple barfood to more impressive daily specials. Although at the moment theyre restricted to the first floor of the building, there are plans to open up the second floor soon, which is perfect since they offer weekly comedians, game nights, and the occasional live band performance and they could use the space. The place definitely feels as though it intends to expand a bit more, so at the moment it seems a touch unfinished, but theres a good chance Ill come back and give it one last star assuming they make good use of that new space.

The food was good but the portion sizes were small for the cost. I loved the taste of the fish and chips but found myself wanting more for the cost. My husband ordered a hamburger medium well but it was more like medium rare. The waiter asked me if I wanted a refill on my soda and had me waiting so long that I had to ask what happen to my refill. It is a shame because the atmosphere was great and I really wanted to say I would be returning.

Decided to go here with my family on my birthday, everyone was beyond impressed with their food. The beer selection is great. The sticky ribs were hands down the best ribs Ive ever had, they fell right off the bone and tasted glorious. The burger and fries was absolutely delicious as well. The building is beautiful inside, great atmosphere, knowledgeable and caring staff. Very reasonably priced. Will definately be going back.

Ordered take out. They said it would take 15-20 minutes. Took just shy of an hour. 35$ for 20 wings and like 3 ribs. And they shorted us on the hard, dry wings. Theyre supposed to be 10 pieces. The two orders we had, one had 6 wings the other 7. Also when you order take out, you get to stand awkwardly in a narrow hallway while waiting to pick up. Definitely would not return. Food and service sucked. And it was way too pricey.

This is our 3rd visit and happy to say, Leatherheads is a great addition to the area and hopefully a stepping stone to revitalizing this area. What a really cool place, it really takes you back to days gone by and you can just imagaine what these old walls have witnessed. Our server, Dana was friendly and quick. The food was delicious. We had the margherita pizza, mussels, wings and meatballs and it did not disappoint.

I wish there were 3 more of these types of places on Philadelphia Ave in EHC. Great beer, food, and happy hour. I wish all happy hour menu items were served outside of happy hour, but a few of my favorites sadly are not. Hopefully this can be the beginning of EHC downtown coming back to life. Did I mention the food is really good?

Good luck breathing life into EHC, and this place is doing a good job. Brought some out of town company here and it checked out. Would go again and recommend. Food was good, interesting menu, and lots of service. Building is cool, atmosphere is attractive, multiple levels, music load enough to be alive but still have conversation.

The prices are comparable to the major chains yet the quality of this restaurant is far superior. Extraordinary food. Great atmosphere. Wonderful service. Outstanding presentation. Robust local beer selection on tap. Ive lived in Egg Harbor City almost my entire life and there has never been a better restaurant in this town.

Ok... the service is great in this bar themed from a firehouse. The atmosphere is just as good as the service for that fact. The issue is the limited food menu and the process for the food. They do have a vast drink menu but is also very pricey. All in all a great experience but cost way to much for it.

Its a nice atmosphere. The upstairs is cold because of a draft from the employees office. I like dark atmospheres but this place was lit up. The Drunken Clams side dish had way too much alcohol in it and the chocolate truffle was a bit dense and fudgey, it wasnt my thing.

Great place! The staff is awesome. Great decor, rehabbed fire house very cool. The food is OK. I had the Thai Chicken salad, pretty good, wife had fish tacos, pretty ordinary, kind of bland. We will definitely try again largely due to the friendly staff

Stopped in by myself after a long day on the road. This place was very legit, super cool decor inside, and great service. The best part was the chef was ON POINT! He nailed both meals I ordered (I was hungry and left happy). Highly recommended!

My colleagues brought me here. Oh, the pizza with six different meats (I forgot its name) was dangerously delicious. Imagine the calorie of the pizza! But, it was good just like other foods there; music and atmosphere were also good.

Exellent, unique meals. Great gourmet pizza. Hometown nostalgia in the firehouse. Photos on the walls of Egg Harbor City Fire Dept. History. The title "Leatherhead" is referencing the old helmets that the Firefighters wore.
