I used to work at the Acura store in the area (before I was fired for not coming in during a hurricane) but had the pleasure of eating at this place several times a week. The other reviews you read about this place are all correct... the soups (especially beer cheese) are all excellent! They also do a lobster bisque and the chili is one of the best I have tasted anywhere. Subs are all good and ingredients are always fresh (so much so that for certain daily specials, you have to get there early before they are sold out!). If you are in the Clinton area looking for some good grub to fill up on, this is the place to go!

Im on the national tour of CATS, and in traveling the country, I have never found subs and soups to rival Ye Olde Sub Bases! They are amazing, and keep me coming here to eat them whenever I get some time off! Wednesday is tortilla soup day! Get there early, or they will be sold out! The wraps are also great..no skimping, and a great value! There is nothing I can say that isnt glowing about my experiences here!

Listen up! This is the stuff right here. You go here for a supreme sandwich experience. No better sub place in Clinton. Sorry everyone else, I like you guys, but Sub base is the world standard of subs and their soup is SO DOPE! Oh god! I love it! Oh my god! YES!

Excellent soups, hoagies and sandwiches are made to order, always fresh bread. Never, ever had anything I didnt like in all the years I have been going there for lunch. It does get a good crowd at lunch but they get u thru quick. Specials on face book daily.

A little jewel in Clinton. Just a store front up some stairs but inside there is great food. They have delicious salads, sandwiches and award winning soups. There are a few tables but we usually do takeout and sit by the river enjoying the view.

Very tasty subs. I recommend getting an Italian sub with all the stuff it comes with, including vinegar and oil. This place uses good, chewy/crispy bread.
