Ming Garden is in the Ellisburg Shopping Center, next to a Whole Foods. This is the second establishment Ive come across in this area that is midway between a Chinese takeout and a Chinese restaurant. The kitchen and order counter seem geared mostly for Chinese takeout but they do also have a number of tables for dine-in. Service was rather efficient and friendly. The lady from the counter and a guy from the kitchen took turns taking orders and bringing out food. In terms of flavor and presentation, the food was definitely a cut above the average Chinese takeout. No yellow rice syndrome was in evidence and their sauces and ingredients were a refreshing change from the ordinary. This place will be on my list for the next time Im in the area.

Ming Garden has been my go to Chinese food restaurant ever since I was a young boy. The staff is very personal and approachable, really nice people. Over the years they have gotten to know me and when I walk in im almost always welcomed with a warm greeting, PLUS they know exactly what I want to drink, and my appetizer (Chinese Pizza) < They have the best ive found in the area. Its clean, everyone is polite, the food IMO (in my opinion) is the best in the area as far as chinese food goes. May i suggest the Chinese Pizza, Sesame chicken and Wonton soup are al excellent choices. MING GARDEN is the best...

I read the 3 reviews before I went to this place, expecting the best chinese, but I was very disapointed. The chicken was chewy, and had pieces of fat on it. The veggies were good. The spring roll was not good, and had an odd flavor. And the crab rangoon had no flavor. Skip it, go to panda pavillion up the street by the CVS instead. (I wrote a review for them as well. Much better food).

Wonderful family run classic American Cantonese Chinese takeaway. Everything is just a little bit better then it ought to be for the price. Enormously consistent. As long as you are not looking for experimental cuisine or fine dining, you will never be disappointed.

I come here to eat on my break once or twice a week. This is the best Chinese food Ive had; The vegetables are always made fresh and it only takes 10 minutes (not even) to cook!The lunch special is an amazing value!

The fried rice cant stand alone but in combination with the sause in the pepper steak one of the best i ever had. The chicken wings were to die for. Definitely going back for more.
