Ok so im very new to Omaha, been here 2 months. Im from Chicago so this is a huge difference. Small but still have lots to enjoy. This happen today 5/14/16 Which bring me to the many different variety of Cuisines that Omaha has to offer. I was told that Three happiness Express was very good and had best of Omaha 2016 2015 and another year, so I come and try it out. I have the jalapeno chicken and I will not lie the food quality is not my issue. The food was actually good. My issue is the fact that I didnt want the rice, instead I wanted to go back home and steamer my own jasmine rice and have with my meal. So I asked the lady can you please not give me the rice and instead Ill have broccoli, she tells me it would be extra. I said maam i dont want the rice, instead can i have broccoli. She tells me that i can have it, but it will still be a charge. So i just let it go and agreed to pay for the broccoli. So I asked if the rice could be put it in a separate container, since im paying for it I will just take it. She informs me that in order to put it in another container it will be another coat lol Im not sure if this is the way of things in Omaha....Yet this to me is a rip-off why would I have to pay more for a vegetable if I dont want you rice and second why would I have to pay for a container on the side when I dont want to the rice in my food from my original order. It just shows that we give our money to restaurants and we allow them to make rules that dont make sense after they get big and feel important... Maybe, just maybe we should stop allowing them ( big companies and restaurantes ) to make the rules. We are the consumers, we pay for the food and we should step up and not go for it but it will take more than just me.....It will take more ppl who see it as wella Just my thoughts, 7

VEGAN? READ THIS!!! This operation is NOT keeping food separate they have so much contamination going on as far as I can tell they are frying ALL of their fried food in the same oil... (Gross) As well as cooking the food in pans that are clearly not clean. I WAS a die hard customer I came here 2 to 3 times a week, spending lots of money with them. I have found beef, and chicken in my VEGAN meals more then twice. The first time this occurred the restaurant was very busy, and when I say busy I mean every table in the establishment was full. So I though "oh simple mistake they where very busy and it was possible that someone elses dinner plate touched mine and it was transferred to my plate. I picked it out and moved forward. Then the second time I was not so lucky I didnt see it before I started eating it I crunched down once and spit it out, and it was chicken (if you are a vegan there is a reason why you are. You do not want to be surprised by MEAT in your meal.) the 3rd time it happened I got the meal to go and I heated it up later on. I found a piece of chicken in there as well. Need less to say I will NEVER be back. I will Never give my hard earned money to a business that harps on how great their vegan selection is then find meat in my meal multiple times.

I am a self declared Chinese (American) Food expert. I have eaten sweet and sour soup, egg rolls, fried rice and general tsos chicken all across our great country. The service was friendly and nice. Unfortunately, the food was not good at all. The soup had a funny taste and I actually couldnt eat more than half. The egg roll was not crispy and again I simply couldnt eat more than 2 bites. I even tried to cover up the taste with the hot mustard and sweet and sour sauce on the table. The hot mustard was good, the sweet and sour sauce, YUCK! Onto the main course. The fried rice I am used to consuming has some vegetables, darker in color and the fried rice that was delivered was little more than white rice, slightly browned. Finally the general tsos chicken. I love love love sauce. I am a sauce king. Well this meal came SWIMMING in sauce. Too much for even me. I asked for onions and green peppers to be added in addition to the broccoli. Well it cost an extra $1 for each vegetable. There was barely any green pepper, the onion was fine and the broccoli was almost non-existent. The broccoli that was there tasted horrible, again I couldnt eat it. My recommendation, skip this stop. And remember, I am a self declared Chinese food expert.

The worst customer service I have experienced at a restaurant. After a 40 minute wait which started to feel less Express with each passing minute, I noticed food being served to people who ordered well after I placed my order. Obviously they lost or misplaced my To Go ticket and regardless of the reason, I was ready to leave and try somewhere else. When I asked for a refund the manager and other staff wanted to argue with me rather than give me my money and send me on my way. Very frustrated, very tired children waiting in the car, I decided to stop arguing with the manager and left without food or my money. When I arrived home with no food or money my wife decided she was not happy with the service either. Thou I tried to explain that life is too short and she doesnt need the stress, she insisted on calling the manager. My wifes conversation was far less friendly than the one I had with the manager and the result was the same. Although I can not tell you how the food tastes, I can tell you that if something is wrong with your food or service while at Three Happiness, the management is ill prepared to treat the customers needs before their own.

Three Happiness is by far the best chinese food around. Their crab rangoon is awesome, their hot & sour soup is amazing (people literally stop in from out of town and buy it by the gallon) & their portions are enough to feed a small army. I personally love their generals chicken but honestly I could eat anything on that menu. The best part of all of it is the amazing service, I rarely get the opportunity to go in there anymore but they always remember my name and of course the cleanliness of the place. It can be hard to tell with some other chinese (or any resaurant for that matter) but the owner, Dao, stays on her workers about cleaning up immediately after a spill. She is a bit of a tyrant seeing as how everything is cleaning with a fresh cloth and tooth pick, yes thats right, a TOOTH PICK. From the pots that hold the soup to the tiles on the wall. My heart will break the day I can no longer eat Three Happiness Express!!!!

Worst experience ever!! It was really hot in the restaurant, they took forever to take our order (there were wait staff standing around), it took them around 45 min to get our appetizers to us and way over an hour to get the FIRST meal to us. They the delivered a meal every 5-10 minuets (we had 5 at our table) and they didnt even deliver the two meals on the same ticket even remotely together. People that had arrived 30-45 minutes AFTER us ordered, got their food and were DONE eating before we got ours. They told us that they were out of egg drop soup but didnt take anything off the meal price wise. It took them 4 tries to get our tickets right to pay and the whole time the wait staff were stopping to eat off the table behind us and never once did they offer an apology of any sort to anyone in our party. I wouldnt recommend unless you are ordering takeout because that was flying out the door.
