The waitresses had no idea what was going on. They were sitting people at dirty tables. No ice, soda machine wasnt working. Had two waitresses for our table for some reason, who were clearly not communicating. They brought our food to another table then after they realized this about a minute and a half later, the waitress comes back and asked the table if they touched the food yet (they said no) and she brings the food to us (disgusting). They couldnt even get our drink orders right, on a table of three. I overhead at least three times the waitrrsses tell the cooks they were missing items on other plates. I understand they were busy but there no excuse for taking food off one table after its been sitting there and taking it to another table.

Make no mistake, this place is a greasy spoon and a hole in the wall... and I love it. Theres not a lot of space here -- we snagged the last free table when we stopped by on Sunday morning. We were warmly greeted by the cook and the wait staff. I never had to ask for a refill on my excellent coffee. Food was out fast and steaming hot. Portions are huge and the prices are very affordable. The pepper gravy on my country fried steak was nothing short of perfection. My partner raved about the french toast (so. much. egg!) and the bacon was perfect. We will be back again to sample their lunch menu. Im only kicking myself for not trying this place soon.

If your tired of cookie-cutter breakfast houses like Waffle House and sometimes like to take a little adventure going to a diner with old diner character this place is for you. Although quite small; the food is great and priced right. The owners couldnt be friendlier and seem to know just about everyone who walks through the door. Ive only been there once but there must be good reasons so many people keep coming back. I sure will. Jim Taylor

Hate it poor service when our other guest arrived they never acknowledged her we decided to order to go. Our food came she never placed her order then whn the manger/ cashier rang us out we decided to say something his response in reference to our concern was shes (cashier ) was only one person doing the best she can no apologies or anything so we left as we were leaving he says dont come back wont be back

Me and my fiancé recently moved to the area and walked in to try it out on a Saturday morning around 9am. We were greeted with smiles and friendly staff! Its hard to find this atmosphere and delicious food! Loved the sausage links and the boyfriend loved his homemade biscuits with gravy. And.. Priced perfectly! Less then $6 a person per plate. Will be back!

I recently seen a bad review on facebook about this fabulous place. The owner is always so kind and the group of girls they have on staff are always so nice and very fast at doing their job. I had a pick up order that literally took 5 mins to make. Florissant city diner is a home away from home. If you havent tried it yet youre missing out on life.

We came in on a Sunday morning at about 8:30, and the place was packed! Though, it was only about a minute before we were seated, and Miss Jess greeted and had us settled in after just another minute. The food was phenomenonal, the down home feeling absolutely relieving. We are definitely coming back again, and bringing friends next time!

I have gone here plenty of times cause their hamburgers are the best. Today was the worse service I ever had and will not go back unless Max and his wife are there. Waitress was very unfriendly and acted like she could careless about my order,the cook was a rude arrogant so and so and my order was messed up.

Random stop and very happy I stopped. Tiny place but was there early so no problem. Super nice people. Very tasty spinach, bacon, cheese (Popeye) omelet. Cooked perfectly - not dry or undercooked. Lots of other choices. Very simple but perfect for what it is.

I had a German omelette, hash Browns, and a half order of biscuits and gravy which were delicious, out fast, with great service and great coffee. The price is half of what it would cost anywhere else, and the food is twice as good!

This is just a local diner with typical diner food. I love the low prices and the breakfast food quantities are great. Didnt enjoy the lunch food as much but they do have fantastic onion rings.

The food at this diner is always awesome, its kind of a hidden gem. They just expanded, so now theres more seating. I would highly recommend the gyro. It was delicious!
