Worst service Ive ever had. The busser was a better server than our actual server. He checked on us, refilled drinks, cleared dishes, brought us things we asked for promptly, etc. Our actual server let our food sit on the counter and get cold, never checked on us, refilled a drink once (only one drink because she forgot the other), and forgot everything we asked for and never actually brought it. We waited over 45 minutes for appetizers and well over an hour for dinner. Our server only had 3 tables and, from what was overheard, never actually brought someones food and gave them just as terrible service. Usually I try to be understanding, but there was no excuse for the service we received. The food is good when it is actually hot and usually has a bit of a wait, but not worth the horrid service. This is usually my familys go to place to eat, but I dont think we will ever go back after this.

Ive been going to Holties since I was 10 and Im a little disappointed in my fellow reviewers. If you waited longer than usual for food or were disgusted by the smell you may just need to get over it. Holties is definitely understaffed and that leads to long waits at times, but regulars dont let that upset them. Sure smoking is allowed here, but its always been that way. Lots of locals come here exactly because they can still smoke in a bar/restaurant, which is rare nowadays. There are plenty of places to go if you dont like smoke or a more casual pace in service. Go up to the city where the chefs and owner sweat over wait times. Ive never been disappointed in 17 years of going here and the only complaints I see seem to be about small town service and smoke. Go elsewhere. Locals actually appreciate this place and their pace

The last few times that I have been to Holties, I have had complaints on the service. The food is good, however the service has a lot to desire. My family frequent Holties for convenience and we like the food. I gave the benefit of the doubt the first couple times, then this last Sunday we were in for breakfast. We got there at 11:30 am ordered and finally walked out at 1:30pm. We witnessed people tired of waiting and walking out. WOW literally, 2 hrs to seat, order and wait for food. So unacceptable. I believe I will be returning to my old reliable neighborhood cafe and bars. A NICE GESTURE WOULD BE TO GIVE THE TABLE A COCKTAIL ON THE HOUSE FOR THE WAIT. BUT THAT WAS NOT OFFERED. SO SHAMEFUL. HOLTIES---WHAT HAPPENED? GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER.

Worse, bar/restaurant/business experience I have ever encountered in my life! First off the waitress took 25 minutes to come back wth 2 waters and 2 mixers, then took an order of Ravioli for my friends girlfriend we waited 45 minutes then asked about the food and another waitress said oh the kitchen is closed! Then the most disgusting part is watching this waitress completely disrespect another customer right to their faces. Completely unprofessional and definitely would never recommend this place to my worse enemy!

Holties has been a regular spot for years now! We love their wings and beer at night and breakfast on the weekend! Prices are great and food is always on key. Servers are always friendly and get anything you need! My friends that smoke enjoy going since over half of jefffo is non nowadays, however there is a non smoking section as well. Only negative I have is that they have needed a remodel for years but it doesnt stop us from going! Totally worth checking out!

Stopped in here the other day with a group of friends and now two of those friends are pretty Ill since thursday. The owners bottom line is profit, and that is why the restraunt stayed open with no A.C. I would have let the staff off with pay and got the A.C. fixed. The food had to been spoiled by the extreme heat.

After waiting two hours for food, we finally got served. Wow, boxed mac and cheese. The French Dip was full of fat, and the cole slaw sucked . Best part of the meal was the fries and the pickle on the plate. If it wasnt for our waitress getting us a free meal I probably would of blown a gasket.

This is one of the places where you feel like a local, even if you dont go very often. Pretty good range of items on the menu. Burgers, sandwiches, and apps are all yummy. Trashed wings are good, too. I need to make it over there for breakfast one of these days. :)

Way to Cold in there to enjoy your meal,I ask if they cold turn the air condition so it wasnt so darn Cold ,waitress said only the manager could turn it,guess what they wasnt there.my family goes there at least once a week,if not twice.not happy

It took us almost an hour from the time we walked in there to order and get our food. After we ordered, we did not see our waitress until about 45 minutes later when she brought us the food.

Good food great prices and cold beer! Family friendly in virtually no crime area right off hwy 55. I like the burgers, bomb man is great as well as the blue note (crumled blue cheese).

Through the smoke, it has no non-smoking section, so you basically are smoking someone elses smoke while eating a meal you paid for. What a bargain!!!!
