I ordered 4 meals of the generals chicken, in one I requested a little more spice. The 3 regular meals were good, but apparently, if you ask for a little more spice, they take it as a dare. The fourth was inedible, even the broccoli was spicy enough to sear your tongue. There was at least one full habanero pepper cooked with the meal and included in the container. When I called to complain the owner offer to recook if I came back, 15 miles is to far to return. When I asked if I could leave my name for a free meal in the future, he said no, and dont ever ask for spicy again, goodbye and hung up.

This is the only comparable restaurant to the now closed Ocean Gardens. It is thought one of the former chefs may have taken a job here. Hot and Sour is good, top 5 I have had. Egg rolls are hand rolled not store bought, and very good, almost as good as OGs. Dinners are very good, service is what you expect from a small independent shop, prices are affordable and portions large. This restaurant has the best House Mustard, although last time I had it it seemed more mild, perhaps it was to hot for most people.

We were regulars all the time at least once a week on our order we asked for a little hot mustard but they wanted to charge 50 cents extra. Its not that they charge 50 cents its that when you get your food and they dont bring enough that you wanted a little more and being regulars at least once a week ypu would thought it would be ok for a little extra .and then when asked the owner said we dont care if you beer come back. So needless to say they lost regulars shame

Food isnt the best, but it certainly isnt bad either. Very generous portion sizes for a good price, and my mom loves the fact that the place has a drive-through window. My one and only real complaint is that they seemed to have changed the taste of the crab rangoons, the filling used to be much creamier and sweeter, and it no longer tastes as good as it once did. I dont know what they did, but I wish theyd go back to the old recipe.

In my opinion this is one of the best small family owned Chinese restaurants in Michigan. The vegetables are always fresh chopped, and the portions are huge. I have never been disappointed and I have been coming here for 20 years. I know live in Lansing, frequent Ann Arbor, Detroit, and this is STILL one of the best. Just good food!

Very sensual experience. Really just kind of made me squeal as I could feel endorphins course through my body like a waterfall. From that first bite to that last I was engulfed in an endless experience of the beauty of Chinese food. 5/5

They have hands down some of the best egg rolls Ive had. Only reason I give it 4 stars is because occasionally the quality doesnt seem to be as good as other times but its definitely good enough to be a returning customer.
