Moving to Boston and shopping at Shaws makes me miss Roche Brothers dearly. Its great, yes pricey but worth for the selection and experience. Their produce section is great, nicely stocked and good quality. They can have good sales on organic items and have a fantastic frozen organic section. They always have what I want. Its my go to grocery store when I need some standard items and a Whole Foods break. I have mostly encountered really nice people here. They are very good at bagging and helping you to your car. They will specially order things for you if you ask. It can get busy but nothing that bad.

Very convenient if you live in Wellesley. Attractive, well kept store with pleasant and helpful staff. Besides groceries, it has beer and wine, prepared meals, catering, delivery, Wi-Fi. Good selection, including fresh herbs. No pharmacy or bank, but those are in the shopping center. Unfortunately 20-40% more expensive than elsewhere for the same quality of groceries, and has not changed while other stores have improved.

I bought a box of infant rice cereal to start our baby on solid food. It turned out the containers best used by date had already passed when I bought the box (but still left on the shelf). Worse was that because the cereal box had been shelved for a long time, maggots had enough time to multiply to quite visible numbers!

The place is spotless, the staff are amazing I hope they pay em well, Ive been shopping at Roches for decades, its amazing. The Wine selection is wonderful, Kevin helped me pick out some unbelievable wines, he knows his stuff thats for sure. If I could tip em I would its a pleasure being a customer for nearly 40 years

Bought a bag of cherries because they were on sale and discovered that half of them were mushy/rotting when I took them out. I guess I know why they were on sale. Pricey but not always the best quality.

On average, the food price there is about 20 to 30% higher than other store. Mostly I am disgusted by the food that are not fresh but over-priced. Be careful!!
