Third and final time going to this place. If youre reading this, go to The Blue Eyed Crab or the Pillory Pub! Save yourself the trouble! During my first trip in March 2017, I sat at the bar. My fish fry was okay and the service was alright. It was a slow day so I figured it was excusable. We came back for my brothers rehearsal dinner on Thursday, May 11, 2017. Maria and Trisha were amazing servers and the food was amazing that night!!! Why the one star then? Our third and definitely our last time in the restaurant left us all angry, upset and with a ruined final day of vacation. All we wanted was to have a great last meal before catching our flight back home. Thanks CabbyShack for totally disappointing us. You advertise one thing on the menu and totally deliver an inferior product and when the bill comes out, it is more than its listed price. When asked to fix it, instead of apologies or anything of the nature, we got excuses and were told we were in error. If the menu says a souvenir cup is $6.95 extra then it should be $6.95 not $8.95. It was a simple mistake that shouldve been resolved easily. Unfortunately though, your establishment does not cater to the customer. Jim/Joe Winn, the manager (?), and the server with a billion bracelets on (health code violation) were rude and not helpful. As we were leaving, we were given a $10 gift card after we explained that we would never be coming back again. (We shouldve given it to one of the poor suckers that were already inside.) Thanks for the pathetic attempt to rectify the situation.

Not family friendly, over priced, horrible and rude service. We were told it would be a 30 minute wait and it was an hour. When we put our name in at the hostess station we explained that we had a 10 month old with us and would need to be seated away from the band they had playing. After waiting an hour to be seated they tried to seat us directly in front of a speaker that was projecting the bands music to the restaurant. We politely explained to the hostess why that table wouldnt work and requested another table that was across the room and unoccupied. She gave us a big attitude and told us we couldnt have that table because they were waiting for the table next to it to be finished so they could take both tables for a larger party which had arrived after us. Her only solution for us was to put our name back on the list for another table. We were so disgusted with the hostesses attitude toward us and the lack of care after telling them what we needed at arrival and waiting double the amount of time we were told it would be for a table with an infant that we left and went somewhere else that had better service. Weve eaten there before and the food was okay, but nothing to rave about, but the location is great which is why we decided to go back. We will not be making that mistake again.

This was our third bad visit! We figured wed give them one last chance. They said it would be a 25 minute wait and it was exactly an hour. There were plenty of empty seats so Im not sure why it was so long. They didnt apologize for the long wait. There were people leaving after eating that were complaining about the poor food and poor service. We got to our seats and the chairs were covered in the food they just wiped off the table. When we asked nicely if they could give us clean chairs, they acted like we just asked for a huge favor. The next chair was all wet. I asked for napkins and wiped it off. There were 2 different servers that introduced themselves, so I dont think they knew who was supposed to be working our table. We began discussing how this visit has started out much like the others or worse and we decided to leave. We went across the parking lot to the East Bay Grille and had an awesome experience! We will not be returning to the Cabby Shack.

Went here with a group of friends and we all left highly disappointed. Service was decent a lot of young inexperienced teens/ students for wait staff and hostesses. My biggest complaint was the food way too salty it was awful. Ordered lobster bisque and it had way too much vinegar. Stuffed shrimp was a huge disappointment, way too salty couldnt even eat the stuffing. Once you did scrape it off the shrimp was good, the vegetables and potatoes were salty as well. When we told the waitress that we were not satisfied with our meal she said "yeah I figured you wouldnt" we just looked at het like why didnt you say anything. She said "yeah the food here is really salty." Then she still charged us the full price not even taking anything off because we told her we werent satisfied. I will never be back.

This place was shockingly good. We stared with ceaser salads, which were very bad (and I was super worried, because the place looked like it would have bad food). They were clearly the low-end pre-packaged salad fixings youd get at a cafeteria. I had a fish sandwich with onion rings, both if which were very good. After the salads I was expecting those panko coated, pre-fried, frozen things and I was super surprised to get something tasty! Both were light and crispy. The fish was thick and meaty, and it wasnt over cooked. My girlfriend had the seafood Newburg, which was wonderful. The scallops in particular were cooked perfectly, and the lobster ravioli had real lobster in it (not the one you usually get with the creamy puree). Ill definitely go back, I just wont get the salad :)

The place was amazing when we first walked in; outside deck, music playing, and there was some kind of event playing. We sat down and ordered our drinks and when we got them, mine was amazing. My boyfriends wasnt what he ordered and so he sent it back asking for the right drink. When he got it back it was overflowing with alcohol and didnt make the drink taste right ( he was fine with it) the food was ok, nothing especially great. And by the end of the night when we got,our checks we had spent $50 on 4 drinks. It was really confusing because they also add in the alcohol thats in it and it looks like they are charging you for 6 or 8 drinks. I honestly feel pretty ripped off, but my boyfriend liked his food and they were really nice.

The food was good....the chowder was fantastic....like write home to your parents and ship some to the midwest awesome. The service, eh, it was almost non existent. My daughters spilled their drink, and it took another waitress to come clean it up, and 20 mins before our waitress came back to ask if they wanted another. waited about 45 mins for the chowder and salad...another 45 for our dinners. The staff seemed disinterested in everything that was going on....especially when they were hanging out around the host stand just talking...and we never saw our waitress again except to drop off the check. Never asked us if we wanted dessert.....id come back for the chowder, but sit at the bar maybe?

My husband and I were looking for a place with a patio to eat at since it was beautiful out...this place had one. That was the only plus for this place! The service was awful, we waited about 20 minutes just for someone to take our drink order. My husband said his lobster bisque was good, but the rest of the food was awful. The bread on his sandwich was burnt and everything was cold. My onion rings were drenched with grease and my sandwich would probably have been good when it was hot. The only time we really saw our waitress after she took our order was when it was time for the check. Definitely would not go back here!
