My husband and I had an early dinner at the Brook. There was only one waitress serving, and not many diners at the time. Nevertheless, it took her a while before she took our order. She made a mistake with our drink order. Then our food order took quite a while and was served piece meal over a twenty minute wait. We never received one of the sides, in spite of many requests. My husbands food was cold and the side never came. So we asked for the check, leaving more than half the entrée. The waitress said shed take the cost of the side dish off the bill, which didnt seem enough for the frustration we felt. We will not bother going back to this place.

We visited your eatery last month and I sent an email afterward with my complaints. Never, did anyone respond to me. Upon arrival we asked for a specific waitress and were told "no" even though she had an empty table. We have frequented this eatery since it was Michaels, and have never been told "no" for a request. Not only did she say no but she had an attitude about us asking. We are sorry to say that our first experience under this management was not enjoyable.

Great place! I just hope this one lasts. As this restaurant slash sports bar has gone through 4-5 owners under 3 names in the past 5 or so years... Not sure why, food is always good and service is usually on point. Either way, it is still pretty much the same place, a bit cleaner and now advertising events weekly. Hopefully having some attractions and specialty nights will make The Brook a mainstay in out quaint little town...

The menu is horrible. Unless you enjoy having turkey dinners (every Thursday) and meatloaf. My steak came out burnt and they told me no when I asked for loaded marshed. The server was very nice but the manager wanted the table I was at and suggested I take my newborn and sit at the bar. I politely got up and left and I will not return.

You can see and taste the effort they are putting into this restaurant to make it better. They do a great job offering a consistent rotation of specials. Drink menu has great variety and Ive enjoyed their burgers as well as their salads. Both their table and takeout service is good.

Cant believe they didnt have Shipyard! Husbands burger perfect fries great. I had chicken Cesar wrap chicken was dry and overcooked fries had no taste or color. How do you serve 2 people at same table totally different fries?

This place has 7 Massachusetts beers on tap! And awesome mixed drinks like a Moscow Mule made with house pear syrup! Ordered the crispy brussel sprouts with siracha ranch sauce. Definitely coming back here again.

We were greeted by the host with enthusiasm, our server Steve was fantastic and knowledgeable about the drinks and food. Great personality. The food was delicious and great presentation. Kudos to all.

Food was excellent, but beer selection was terrible. A lot of local breweries which is a good thing, but bad types. And to have so many local beers and not harpoon is a shame
