Excellent place on the North Shore for homemade candies and a great ice cream bar! All of the candies that I have had here have been delicious. The ice cream bar is great with all of the toppings you would want and you can pile on as many and as much as you want. The atmosphere is that of an old antique house with furniture of an old ice cream shop. There is plenty of parking and it is conveniently located right on Rt. 1 North. My only complaint and the reason for not getting the 5th star, they should just use Cherry Hill or Richardsons ice cream, their ice cream is not my favorite but it is just merely a delivery system for all of the great toppings.

Great atmosphere and local landmark. The ice cream itself is not as good as another local favorite (Richardsons), but the smorgasbord of self-serve sundae toppings and Colonial atmosphere is nostalgic for anyone who grew up around here. Also sells a large selection of Old-Fashooned New England chocolates, candies, and fudge.

The last time I visited before yesterday was probably 20 years ago. Definitley not how I remembered it. The ice cream tasted freezer burnt and the toppings werent anything special. Sorry to say I wont be returning

A favorite family destination for years that has had beautiful upgrades recently. Ice cream and fudge has always brought us back for more but this time we had a delicious lunch in the cafe as well.

So many wonderful treats and desserts. You can also make your own sundaes! Great for hot summer days (you can sit indoors or outdoors) and if youre looking to get a gift of sweets for someone.

Highly recommended. Great ice cream, nice staff, not a lot of room for sitting when there is a private party, but they are renovating. If I were a local I would come here weekly, at a minimum.

not what I expected. Not many toppings, pretty expensive at $5-$8 a pop. A "buffet" is not really accurate. Do yourself a favor go to Dairy Queen. The ice cream flavors however were decent.
