Who Knew? Stopped by this Sub Shop on my way home through Danvers. My wife ordered a Sandwich (that she loved). Because I am gluten free, I thought my options were nonexistent. When I was asked by the person behind the counter what I would like to have, I let them know of my dietary restrictions and that I would have to grab something somewhere else. The friendly staff proceeded to tell me that many customers come in that are GF and that a great combo is to simply put the sandwich contents (minus the bread of course) on a Firehouse Salad. Actually, made total sense and I had the Steak and cheese "sandwich" on a firehouse salad. It was awesome! Ill be back.

The staff was nice and the service was good. But I ordered the steak n cheese I didnt like the use of mozzarella as the cheese. They also use ore cooked meat. Not a good sub at all. It was dry. They asked me if I wanted mustard m I said yes but git no mustard. The con of not grilling subs is that when you asked for mushrooms and peppers they just reach into a bin and lay the peppers and onions on. If it were cooked together with the meat it would taste like that but its placed on the sandwich as an after though like a tomato so it taste that way

Great approach to corporate and social responsibility. A medium soda is 32 OZ. and the machine used in the soda process is pretty cool with a large amount of soda options. However, the food was a major disappointment. I ordered a steak and cheese with the works. The steak was cold along with the veggies, and the sub was loaded with mayo. Ill give it another shot but at almost $10 for a sub, chips and a drink, your almost better off going to subway (which is my least favorite sub shop on the planet).

Good subs friendly service. It was my fist time there and I was impressed. While I was eating my sandwich a disabled man fell in the parking lot and the manager rushed out to help him, wow very friendly and helpful. They ask you when you buy your subscription if you want to donate your change to help first responders, I did all of 25 cents. I noticed while I was there they had one of those large checks made out for over $60,000, so it really adds up. They also have salads.

Who the hell puts mayonnaise on a steak and cheese sub??? And what is with the toased sub roll??? I didnt ask you to toast it or put mayo on it! Didnt discover this mess till I got home. Threw that nasty frigging sub away. Talk about annoyed.

Always the best in subs! Just moved from Iowa where none were really around. Makes me cry a little every time cause of how good they are. Couple owned good people. Lotsa choices. Great option for catering! Wish there were more.
