Having worked in the service industry, I know mistakes happen ane people can be inflexible and unrealistic in their expectations. I have been on the receiving end therefore i am patient with service that others may find unacceptable. On customers service feedback forms to get anything less than 10 you have to be pretty bad and for me to complain on a public forum you have to be legitamitely effing abominable. Congratulations New York Pizza you are legitamitely effing abominable. I ordered food at 12:30 am through foodler (whose great and customer service remains unparalleled in my experience). I expected the food to take an hour and around 1:45 I called to make sure everything was alright. I was rudely told that they driver was already out (Im not sure what that means exactly) before i had even said anything. So i waited thinking that the driver would take 5-10 minutes at the most (I live around .5 miles from this place). At 2:10 I called back to cancel my order. Admittedly this was after they were closed, however their driver had still yet to deliver anything. They did not have a message machine or anything. At 2:20 the driver arrives to deliver my food 1 hour and 50 minutes after it had been ordered and I consider it cancelled 10 minutes before without an apology or any updates. I asked for a good will gesture through a foodler rep from NYP but they declined. Not a good look take a lap NYP.

When Im feeling lazy Ill make a quick stop by here to pick up a slice of pizza. They have a constant rotation of various specialty slices so theres usually something new to experience if you dont come here too often. If all else fails Im also a huge fan of their plain cheese slice. Slices here are a bit on the pricey side ($3.95 for a plain cheese, $4.95 for a special slice) HOWEVER the slices are absolutely huge (see the pictures here as a reference). One slice is definitely more than enough for the average person. Ive also had their chicken Caesar wrap and onion rings which arent bad but nothing to write home about. NOTE: There are TWO locations so if youre calling in for pickup make sure you choose the right place (ive witnessed on more than one occasion people coming in to pick up an order but at the other location).

Massive slices 2x a normal slice in size (about 1/5 of a normal XL pie ; $4.95 for a veggie slice with sparse toppings). Absolutely delicious, tender, chewy, real bread crust, that gets a good crunch. The bones (edges of the slice) are good enough to eat alone for an entire meal. Sauce is slightly sweet. Very casual atmosphere. Pizzeria frequented by local residents & construction workers, a sign of its quality. The bacon-chicken-white cheese slice is a tasty gut-bomb.

Customer service was great. Went in for a slice but was dissapointed. More like disgusted. The buffalo chicken pizza had nice hunks of chicken, but under the cheese was the most disgusting blue cheese sauce! I HATE blue cheese so imagine my surprise when I fold my pizza and take a big bite! I wish the cashier would have told me! Gross, I cant even look at pizza. If you like blue cheese thats the slice for you. Can say the slices were HUGE and only about 3.75.

Maybe you wouldnt get under cooked crap if you didnt go there at 1 AM when theyre slammed with a bunch of people Who are drunk and they have to deal with them. Try am at a normal time like 7 PM get a pie then and youll be hooked. Theyve been down in the south end longer than any trendy restaurant you could try slicing up the same good pizza every day. Their not trys to out do some fly by night trendy spot that will be gone in a year.

Pizza here is a good deal not because its much better than other places, but because it is cheaper but still good. A slice of cheese pizza is 4 $ and this can seem too much compared with someone that sells the cheese pizza at 2,50$, but the pizza here is exactly the double than every slice I have ever had in Boston. So you take one slice paying 4 $ instead of 2 slices somewhere else paying 5 $.

Im from NJ, and finding NY/NJ style pizza in Boston is no easy task. Luckily, NY Pizza does the job! I used to go to the Tremont location every now and then when I was in the area, but now the Mass Ave location delivers! Hooray! Quick delivery and very reasonable pricing, and even though Im probably ordering it more often than I should Im very glad it exists.

I ordered a small cheese pizza and this is by far the most pathetic excuse for a pizza, the crust was folded, the cheese was sparse and on one slice wasnt even on the dough, the slices werent cut through all the way so its literally a pie, and the delivery driver forgot my soda. Shouldve known better than to get new York pizza in Massachusetts.

Ordered large pizza and buffalo tenders for delivery. Speedy delivery but disgusting food. Wings soggy and overly sauced and bitter. Pizza almost inedible. We all had two slices but could not finish second. Not what we would have expected from them. In the past they have been better. Both had abdominal issues that night after eating... yuck.

Worst experience Ive EVER had trying to order pizza. Went here on New Years Eve. I ordered two slices. A half hour went by before I went up to the counter and asked where they were. They... forgot. Are you effing kidding me? I asked for my money back. Worst experience ever and I will not be back.

Its a hit and miss kind of place. I live very close so have tried this place many times. The slices are huge, really big and adequately priced. My personal favorite is the Mushroom Pizza. I do think the slices are not warmed enough in the oven and sometimes taste way to cold.

This place was awesome! We had just arrived in the city from an 18 hour drive and he delivered the pizza to us even though they didnt normally come this way. He was also fast. We loved this New York style pie. Awesome beginning to our adventure in Boston!

The food is absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. I especially love their Wing ding dinner and chicken alfredo pasta. The staff are wonderful, very fast and absolutely Nice. The pizzas are so Big and cheap and very tasty.

I love the pizza, late night atmosphere, and staff at NYP. The pizza is delicious no matter what time of the day you go and the staff are always hysterical and nice (and most likely having a good time themsevles...). Highly recommend this place.

I placed an order for pick up and had to wait an extra 25 minutes for something that shouldve been done before I got there. I specifically asked for ketchup on my sub and there was none. My food was cold and I was soooooooo not satisfied AT ALL

being from nyc i triy anything that say new york pizza but as usual they fall short of real new york pizza. i think any restaurant thay says new york pizza should be really good pizza. this one falls short.

Ordered a large cheese to go and walked it back about .5 mile. Very generous sized pizza with an absolute amazing crust. Would give it a 5 but it seemed not as hot as it should have been at pick up.
