Came here to celebrate my friends birthday. Took about 20 minutes for us to get The water from the waiter, who seemed pretty standoffish from the get-go. The food is way overpriced, I wanted to get Pad Thai but definitely didnt feel like paying $25 for a bowl, so i get some $12 pot stickers that were alright. The drinks were nothing out of the ordinary either. My friend had a Mai-Thai that definitely didnt have enough pineapple juice or orange, tasked like straight-up diluted rum. We all split a scorpion bowl that cost $50, and that was alright and fun to drink. Ordered a Borubon ending for $12 and it was alright too. As for the ambiance, I didnt think too muich of it. Kitsch art and partitions that definitely dont seem to justify the boost in price. Servers who look like they want to stab you with the knives from the sushi bars. A couple of cops busted up a table nearby because these pipsqueak kids who literally looked like they were in high school where drinking big old melons of mixed drinks. Pretty sad and ridiculous to watch. Not sure how they werent carded, but ok. When I asked the waiter, slick-haird Bobby, to make sure he wasnt charging us for three drinks that were supposedly already paid for by some of the b-day girls friends who left early, he went into a little hissy fit and wouldnt stop bitching about why he hates splitting checks. Okay Okay, I told him, but can you check in your system to make sure your not double chargng us, and he ran off to do I dont know what and never came back. In the end, he did let us split the checks, without a combative word, and I left feeling like I wanted to split his face and never come back to this glorified pf changs.

I went to Empire for Restaurant week. Conveniently located in the Seaport and easily accessible from downtown or Silver line, the venue is vast. On a Thursday evening my girlfriends and I were able to grab seats at the sushi bar. The dining areas were plentiful and dark and very much reminded me of a Las Vegas dining experience as you wouldnt know what time of day it was outside but you were distracted by the intricate and beautifully decorated ambiance. We were able to experience 3 courses for $38 starting with the Spicy Salmon rice bites and crispy scallion pancakes. For the main course we splurged a little for the Black cod ($10 more) which was so completely worth it. Aside from restaurant week the black cod is typically $42 and I would get it again then. We also got the Pepper Steak and Szechwan Chicken, which was really spicy, but rather dry. Cocktails were by the plenty and the Lychee Martini was heavenly. For desert, we were tricked by the name of the Pandan Profiteroles but was delightfully surprised by the light taste of the ice cream with just enough sweetness from the fruit. We also had the peanut butter and chocolate crab rangoons - wonderful but heavy. I would definitely let my significant other take me here for a romantic and pricey evening.

Worst customer service we have ever received. After having reservations, they sat us in the lounge section, which I did not have a problem with. We placed our order and some of the items arrived late, which I also did not have a problem with. However, after the last few items arrived, we were literally asked if we were going to want our food "boxed" or not because the next party was arriving so we needed to "leave"...I could not believe it. Never have I been to a restaurant where I have been asked to leave in the middle of my meal because they needed to sit the next table. To make matters worse, we had an 8pm reservation, the next reservation for our table (which like I said, they sat us in the lounge area and the 6 of us had to eat out of small coffee tables) was at 10pm and we were asked to leave at 9:30pm. I would not recommend this place to anyone. This place should not be in business.

The best of both worlds. If you want to go out to eat, the food and restaurant is great. There is a variety of Asian food to choose from... sushi, pad thai, traditional Chinese, even Polynesian/Hawaiian inspired dishes... Im not gluten free but I do take notice of those options on menus (as well as vegan/vegetarian) and there seems to be a fair amount of GF items on the menu. Private dining rooms looks lovely too. Then if youre having a night out, theres the lounge which I really like too. Diverse enough crowd (Id say mid 20s+ ?), good bar and music. Ive seen that people reserve seating. Oh! And so important, the bathrooms are clean!

This place is an abomination and should be shut down the disrespect my girlfriend and I received from server was incredibly inhuman. We came to a table that was a horrible location and it seemed everyone around us was treated better than us I am disgusted and will never return. Seems like a very two faced business as well I over heard servers talking about us and the front desk woman who is blonde came up to us and confronted us about having our identification after weve been seated. Worst experience never would wish this on anyone

This place is great. Has a nice lively upbeat atmosphere plays some house music here & there. The food is pretty goood but is slightly overpriced on some menu items like the noodles sort of on the expensive side of things. Portion is ok I think the was what got me as its 24$ & it kind of left me wanting more as I didnt get full. But overall great place to go for a great romantic dinner but not for every weekend as that would be really pricey.

Amazing food and service!!! This is my fave spot for special occasions and Ive tried many dishes, all of them just delicious. There are three different small areas. One more like a night club to enjoy drinks. The second one is a sushi bar and the other area is more quiet and romantic atmosphere. Unlimited sushi on Mondays afternoon by $30. The most of dishes are expensive but really worth it.

What a fantastic experience, the food while always on point was equally matched with the excellent service we received. What ever fire operations manager Jamie lit under the rear end of his staff at empire, it sure sparked them in the right direction as far as service goes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep up the great work Jamie, we will definitely becoming back again and again!!!!!!!!!!! .

I thought the atmosphere was nice and the food and drinks were wonderful. My only complaint is that my waiter didnt recognize my ID since Im not from the area and after asking many of his coworkers in front of me if it was fake he asked me if it was real or not and to me that was kind of offensive. Other than that my experience was great though! I would definitely come back.

The food is amazing, its worth the prices. The environment is nice as well. When you are away from the bar its not too loud and your able to converse with people. Once at the bar theres space to dance, and have fun, theres spots to sit down, and they are constantly playing good music! Waiter could have been a bit more attentive at the party of 10 I was in.l
