My husband, mother and I visited Cafe Fraiche for lunch. The experience was thoroughly unpleasant from start to finish. When we walked through the door, we our noses were assaulted by the smell of some type of industrial glue. My inclination was to turn around and leave, but my mother is in a wheelchair and it is not easy to go from one place to another. The room was dingy with visible dust and grime on some surfaces. After choosing a table, my husband and I arranged the seats to accommodate a wheelchair and were immediate “hand slapped” by the owner. Once seated, we waited a good amount of time for someone to take our order. I noticed the cafe was full, but didnt realize no one was eating until hearing a shout from the kitchen that “the food wasnt quite ready yet.” It was 12:30. I am not sure what was causing the delay in food prep. Sandwiches, soups and salads shouldnt require that much effort. Fifteen minutes later, meals started to be served. We waited and waited, while watching people who came in after us eat their food. Fifteen to twenty more minutes went by when our food finally arrived. It was not worth the wait. My mom liked her benedictine. My husbands quesadilla was so/so. My humus wrap was inedible. In fairness, it might have tasted a little better if I hadnt been inhaling toxic fumes while trying to eat. I will credit the owner for removing the humus from our tab, since I only ate one bite. One last complaint: The bathroom was filthy.

Best gluten free bread, hands down! You must order in advance but the gluten free sandwich bread and cinnamon raisin bread are jewels! Great price too! I just wish they would ship!
