Stay Away From The Dugout!!!! Last Sunday, my wife and I went out to the Dugout, and I have to say, it was the worst experience we have ever had at this establishment. Their bartender, Amy, was giving poor service to almost every person in there. She blatantly ignored paying customers, and it eventually got to the point where everyone from the group we were with had to send my wife to order their drinks because she would not take their orders. Then, to top it off, she was quoting higher prices than the drinks actually were, then misrepresenting said drinks on the written tab. She charged us for at least 4 additional drinks. I have been a loyal patron of this bar for over 8 years, and do not care to think of the thousands of dollars I have spent over that time. Through all of that, I have never seen a bartender with such poor manners. Let this be a warning to all, because of the way she treated our friends, my wife and myself, we will no longer be going to the Dugout. So, in short, be smart, and dont let Amy rip you off like she did every patron in there that night. P.S. - To all of our friends that still go to the Dugout. If you would like to hang out with us, let me know and we will send you a text of where and when we are out.

Love the dug out, the food is really good, and despite what the angry person below said, the bartender is always awesome, right when you walk in you feel like a regular, the bartender quickly greets you, if you have no idea what to drink she is great at recommending drinks, despite the bar being packed and having a bit of a wait she always made sure to go down the whole bar making sure everyone was ok and taken care of, the drinks are deff good pours to and the bartender can make anything!!!! I had only gone cause my friends invited me out and I didnt know much about the dug out, but after meeting so many cool people and realizing that the bar makes you feel welcome and the bartender is super friendly and awesome, I will deff be going back more!!!!

Do not provide business to this establishment. At one point the dugout served excellent food and had a great repertoire with people. But since the hiring of their night "bartender" Mariah Sillin, the service has been very lacking due to her constant flirting. I feel as though this once great place would do better with someone more stable tending the bar. I will say most all of the staff there is very friendly and well mannered. But as they say, one bad apple ruins the entire bushel. If Eddie cared about this town and community he would remove Sillin family from the establishment. It would be better for TopCity better for Shawnee County and much better for the State of Kansas.

Had lunch there early on a Friday. The Cheeseburger was pretty good and the service was quick. We were there shortly after 11AM and there were some old drunks having beers (one in Pajamas, which was a nice touch). Overall it was a good experience though, and I would plan on going back later in the afternoon for beers and burgers when I dont have to go back to work.

shitty experience I was up there waiting 5 minutes and some random people walked in and got service before me... bartenders have no respect I got kicked out for telling him I been here waiting, why am I not getting helped. I hope he gets fired. horrible service... first come first serve.

If you had a bad experience, you should have reported it to Eddie (the owner). Hes a very good businessman and wouldve resolved the issue. If in fact the problem was with Amy, Eddie would buy a round of drinks for you guys so as not to lose customers. Have a nice day people,

Great friendly atmosphere. Friendly karaoke gal worked last Saturday night. Bartenders and crowd made us newcomers comfortable and relaxed. Enjoyed ourselves. We will be back.

Cool bar....but its really cool because it has an EXCELLENT CAR SHOW on the 3rd Saturday of each month (weather permitting of course). Great Burgers!

Its not for everyone, pool tables, video games, darts and the best damn burgers in topeka. The service rocks, especially the hottie waitresses!
