We have been going for years...recommended to friends, but after last evening WILL NEVER STEP FOOT INSIDE AGAIN! It was a beautiful evening and thought sitting outside would be relaxing, and it was until a couple showed up, sat next to us and decided to face time with family who were not at dinner with them. It was so loud, and so very annoying, everyone sitting on the patio did not need to hear the entire FaceTime visit (which lasted over 1/2 hour). First my husband went in and kindly asked the manager if they could possibly speak to the face timing customer and maybe ask they to take it off speaker? Nothing was done.....another 15 minutes later and the face timing was getting worse (even the drink didnt help), I then went in myself to speak with the owner, not only did she say there was nothing that she could do as it was a public place (not true, If she owns it), but she wasnt going to talk to them and didnt even offer us another table to move to. I then told her That was not ok, I would pay for what we had been served, but I was cancelling the rest of my meal and leaving- the OWNER THEN PROCEEDED TO SCREAM AT ME AND MY HUSBAND IN FRONT OF OUR CHILD AND THE ENTIRE RESTAURANT, SCREAMING LIKE AN ABSOLUTE LUNATIC FOR US TO LEAVE THE RESTAURANT. I have never in my life been treated like this and will never step foot in that place again. Anyone who turns away and embarrasses long time clients for rude facebooking entitled aholes is not worth anyones patronage. The owner is a crazy lunatic who has no business running a restaurant or handling customer service, the wait staff is horrible and the patio use to be worth it, but not anymore. Do not spend your money or look for an enjoyable relaxing evening at this establishment!!!

Had a group of 5 eat at this restaurant last Wednesday and one of the people in my party bit into his chicken burrito and bit down into a plastic clip that was cooked into his burrito. When we called the management over to show them what was found in the burrito, they blew it off as if it were nothing, asked if we wanted them to make another burrito and did not even offer a discount or comp the meal!! We will never eat at this place again. UPDATE: I spoke with a manager and she was appalled at the situation that happened. Not only did she credit me, she also gave me a certificate as an apology for our experience. She did not know the full situation at hand and when it was explaimed to her, she handled the situation as it should have been handled by our server. I will chalk this experience up to a rude server and not base our total negative experience on the establishment as the manager handled the situation in a fair and concise way.

The service was dull and unwelcoming, They were just going through the motions. The food was unappealing. I ordered the Mole Poblano. The chicken was boiled with no flavor and under cooked, the mole was too sweet with no spice. The garnish was minimal and unappetizing. This was not authentic Mexican. Putting out 30 bucks for an entry and a beer, doesnt mean that it is good.

Theres not a lot of true Mexican options in this area but Guanajuato is solid. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the burritos rival fancier places in the city. Great as a mid-week take-out option as well. Will revisit again and again.

The margaritas are amazing. They dont use a generic mix and they take their time making them. At $10 each theyre worth it. The food is always on point. Ive been there several times and the quality remains CONSISTENT. 10/10

Great food, great service, good atmosphere! But you may want to call ahead on weekends, as it can become hard to get a table. EDIT: The name, by the way, is pronounced like "Wahn-a-WAHT-oh".

The first time I went, the food was mediocre. The second time, they screwed up my order in three different ways. (although the steak was tasty). I will not be going back.
