This was the first time ordering pizza from them. There was plenty of sauce and cheese which was good. I ordered a thin crust. The crust was not good. A tad thick and under-cooked for our taste. It was too chewy to enjoy. I ordered from the website. When I got there to pick up the pizza it was more pricey than expected. They play with wording I always catch, but not this time. I also found as a first time customer, the manager who waited on me was less than friendly. I will not be returning there again. I prefer the ambiance and taste of the food at Marcianos on Rt. 20 with Tiramisu cake to share afterwards. Such a disappointment.

I grew up and ordered from the original one in Wood Dale, IL. When this one opened up in Elgin, I was extremely happy. The pizza at this location is just as great as when I was young and eating from the Wood Dale restaurant. We live in Carpentersville, so this one is not extremely close but when we drive by the area we make sure to make some time to stop in for some pizza. We have catered pizza from there also for a birthday party and everything turned out as expected. The main manager there is EXTREMELY nice also so it makes wanting to go back there easier when choosing a place to eat.

Just tried this Pizza for the first time thanks to Work. We bought from the one near Bensenville, but I happen to live right near this one in South Elgin. I have a bad gluten allergy, and almost brought in my own lunch since the few previous times I have tried Gluten Free pizza, it was god-awful. This place, which I had never heard of, has just earned a new faithful customer! The gluten-free crust is great and some of the people I work with said they really liked it to, even though we had about 10 normal pizzas for them. Thank you for thinking of people like me White Cottage!

Absolute terrible service. Moved to a new residence and never ordered from here but heard the pizza was decent. Spoke to the Manager/Owner and asked what specials they had. He responded they didnt have any. So I then asked for prices and different pizza options to which he responded "why are you asking me so many questions". I asked him if I was bothering him and to speak to his manager and to my surprise he stated he was the owner. He then told me if I had questions about their pizza I should go online instead of ask him. WOW!!!

This place is terrible.. we made a $35 order online from their site. It gave us a 60 minute time frame to pick... after receiving the confirmation email and number we thought all was good, but no. We arrived to pick up our order and were told no order was placed. We showed them the email and con# and were told "sorry sometime we dont get the orders" so if we wanted food we would need to wait another 30 minutes... she could care less... I will take my business somewhere else.

I dont like their pizza - too greasy for me. BUT I love their mostaccolli pasta. They have a great tomato sauce! Order it without the cheese, though. Bruchetta and Caprese salad are good too. My husband ordered an Italian sandwich, though, and was sorely disappointed. He said it was just a cold deli meat sandwich with too much oil on the bread. They recently raised all their prices ... not sure Ill be in there as much anymore.

Pizza tasted great - if only I got what I ordered. Ist time ordering a pizza. New to the area. I ordered Sausage, Mushroom & Fresh mozzarella. Came with onions instead of mushroom. Not the same taste. Called to let them know and they graciously said theyd send out the correct pizza. Got the pizza and came with sausage only. No Mushrooms. I could not call again. The pizza is really good, but I love my sausage and mushroom.

Enjoyed a slice of deep dish pizza today that was ordered from White Cottage and delivered to Westminster Christian School about 10 minutes from their location. Everyone who was at the open house loved the pizza. Many positive comments, none negative. Buttery crust, cheesy and right amount of sauce made for a great overall taste. Cant comment on the employees or the service at White Cottage but the pizza was fabulous!

The pizza is consistently phenomenal. But the service is the freaking worst. Ive had bad experiences there my wife has had bad experiences there .....rude. They are real nice to my Italian friends. Rude rude rude theyre so freaking rude, & I hate their pizza so good but Ill never go there again . skip that place and take your money somewhere where the people appreciate your money

The owner of this place actually made me cry, hands down the worst customer service I have ever recieved in my life. So rude, Ive never been yelled at by someone that I dont even know like that all because of a coupon. You would think after all the bad reviews he has gotten he would try and change his behavior. He needs a serious lesson on customer service.

Terrible customer service, and food never came because its "my fault" that I ordered online instead of called. Why have online ordering as an option if youre going to use it as an excuse to why my food was never delivered. I should of listened to these bad reviews before wasting 1 1/2 hours of my time.

White Cottage Pizzeria doesnt accept checks. For this reason, I will not purchase from them again. Thin crust pizza was pretty good, sausage and mushroom with plenty of toppings. Sauce was a little bland. Pizza was ready on time and piping hot.

This is the best pizza anywhere. We have been eating this pizza for over 15 years from their first place in Woodale to the 2nd location in Carol Stream to the new location in Elgin. Definitely worth ordering and once you do, you will be hooked.

Sign says closes at 10PM. Its 9:06PM. They have cones blocking the driveway. I am glad I didnt stop to try something new. Im sure the owner of this place cares more about his employees than making money.
