Ive been coming to the Green Lady for several years since they opened. The bar is super cozy and relaxing place to enjoy the huge variety of craft beers they have on draft. Quality is very high and the draft lines are always perfectly clean. Theres no kitchen but they welcome you to bring your own or order in. They offer draft flights, which few other beer bars in Chicago are doing. They are always tapping rare and unusual beers, and the selection is one of the more broad and eclectic in the city. The annual South of 80 event features out-of-market breweries from downstate IL and beyond. You know whats really pathetic? Internet trolls posting fake 1-star reviews for a business theyve never been to, based on a Dec. 16 news article about the bar dropping Miller Lite since they hosted a Trump fundraiser. Who cares? Why would you lie to slander a business online youve never been to? Its a shame how many sad little fascists there are out there. They know who they are, and how truly insecure and phony they are, because its pretty obvious whos fake on here. If youre a local beer geek, you owe it to yourself to check out the Green Lady. Close to Northdown and Bitter Pops for more beery options.

This is a very casual bar and feels like a place for locals. Difference being that this bar has great beer. They will occasionally have exclusive events where they have a special beer on tap or have brewers in for an event. That was the case last summer when I attended a 5 Rabbit beer event. Two of the brewers were there for Q&A and they were featuring 5 Rabbit flights. Some may see it as a downfall, but there is no kitchen therefore food available at the bar. But they are completely open to you bringing in your own grub and have a book of carry out and delivery menus to make it easy.

This location has one of, if not the, best selection of craft beers on tap. Bartenders are knowledgeable and will help you select a new beer based on your preferences. One thing that haunts this place though is the bathroom location. Being directly across the main bar with no hallway means the mens bathroom scents waft through the main bar area. They keep late night hours so thats always a plus!

IF you ignore politics (and politics driven reviewers complaining about food that this place doesnt offer - no kitchen) youll find a really great old school feeling bar with a very modern, diverse draft list. Beer list is well written, and they always have local, craft beers on draft that Ive never seen anywhere else and Im in bars at least 7-10 times a week. Theyve got Malort too.

Very good beer selection with reasonable prices. Its also one of the better places to play trivia - the host is excellent and the competition is stiff. They dont serve food but you can bring in outside food. Theres a few places nearby, and youll want to pick up, as cell phone reception inside is terrible to non-existent.

Anyone who goes all political saying they will sell their remaining beer from a certain company because of fundraising; donate the money in Pences name to Planned Parenthood is at the very least,a sore loser;at the most, completely unprofessional and deserves to lose their license. PATHETIC.

I wish i could gove this place 0 stars i will never come here again they wont get 1 dollar from me, this place got rid of coors products because coors donated to trump. I dont support places that dont support trump not to mention this place smells, this buisness should go under!

Very chill bar, no food, dog friendly. I play Euchre there on Wednesday, large and ever changing draft board. They have trivia nights and also dart nights. $10 minimum for credit cards. Friendly owner, a good neighborhood bar and plenty of regulars.

Came here for a sour beer fest and it was PACKED. Impossible to get a drink and the staff didnt seem to care at all, was actually somewhat snobby when asked questions about what theyd recommend. Was impossible to move around. Probably wont be back.

Favorite place for specialty craft beer. Secret releases of bourbon county variants and other rare beers you cant find anywhere on tap. The owner is amazing and makes you feel at home! Love that you can bring your dogs too!

Great bar to sit at and have a beer. Great ownership, great beer selection. If youre in the neighborhood, it cant be beat. If you have to travel to get here, it still cant be beat. Order food in -- lots of options.

What a great beer list. They even had gluten free beers which is rare, but fantastic. Services was good, we popped in recently and had the place to ourselves, which depending on your mood can be good or bad!

Seriously fantastic beer selection. Perfect 90s music selection if thats your jam. Staff is seriously cool. Crowd is laid back but not too laid back. Proximity to Paulina brown is pretty awesome too.

This is one of my favorite bars. The owner is amazing, and all the bartenders are great. Even better when the weather is nice and the windows are open. Ive never had a bad time here.

Terrible..... they do have a good beer selection but not worth dealing with owners. Roscoe village has much better options. By the look of things they will be closed soon

Poor service, bar staff was arrogant and seemed irritated to have to serve me. Food was nothing to write home about. I will not be returning.
